Welcome to Godot Wild Jam!
I can see where it was going, great work on what you were able to get done! The art and visuals look nice. RPGs as well as turn based RPGs can consume a lot of time because of the amount of content and assets needed!
Thank youu! Yes, we suddenly saw a massive raise in the time needed and couldn’t manage. Thank you for playing and leaving a comment, we appreciate it.
Props to our dear Itsumi for the art, can’t get tired of looking at it hehe
Loved the music and visuals. My compliments to the composer and the pixel artist! Wish the game was longer, though… Hungry for more.
Thank you for playing our game!
It was the first jam for all of us and we had trouble finishing it. Some of us might continue working on it. We hope to eventually be able to present you with something better.
Nice music and the art was cute. I was not able to rebind keys to the up or down arrows but I was still able to do a murder and be a hero! Hopefully your next jam goes better fo you,
Hi, thank you for playing. I only noticed this bug after we shipped it. Since I wanted to work a bit more on it, I focused on the save system that I left half way and will work on it later, but it seems that the native controls the engine gives over the buttons interact with whatever button you choose on both the up and down arrows and the w and s keys, if you de-bind them you cannot redo it.
I can only apologize, I am ashamed, but I am glad you liked our art and music. Props to our dear Itsumi for their excellent work. Glad you had fun, thanks for playing with us!
Very unfinished, but I like what I see (especially the keybinding menu :)
Hi! Thank you for your comment and for playing! We came up a bit short on time but did what we could. I am glad you liked our menu and the rest of our game. Hope we managed to at least entertain you for a while.
Why does this have such a wide variety of accessibility options (even for language), I'm so confused I gave it 5 stars
To give some actual feedback though, I loved the music and the art, it was very charming. I wish to see the rest of the game later
Heheh I’m glad you appreciate it. I had been working on a personal project where I had to wait for the assets for a while so I went all in on the menu, so I had it all fresh. Internationalization is quite simple to do in Godot, so long as you start early enough. If you take a closer look, we didn’t manage to actually internationalize it all since some characters weren’t properly saved and aren’t properly shown and some lines weren’t set to their code, so they’re only in English.
I am glad you liked our music and art, Itsumi did a great job and I only wish you could’ve seen the rest of our available assets. I don’t know how I would ever notify anyone of it, but I will continue working on it to keep polishing some skills.
Thanks for playing and your kind review!
I think you can notify people on the analytics tab of your project, but there are some caveats as far as I remember
Cute idea, would love to see it continued!
Thank you for playing and for your comment! So would we, so perhaps haha
Looks good, obviously I wish there was more. It was initially confusing that I could swing the sword in the world but had to find one to use in battle.
Thank you for playing and for your comment!
We also wish there was more and the base is coded, but we ran out of time to make it production-ready.
We’ll work on it for a while to give it some finishing touches, hope you swing by in a couple of weeks and you can take a look at the finished product.
Shame you didn't get to implement more of the game, at least you got down some of the base mechanics!
Thank you for commenting and playing our game.
In the end, we managed to scramble, but it was a close call. We managed to finish something I’m fairly proud of and am glad we’re getting some players.
It was a fun endeavor and I learned tons, as well.
