This was a lot of fun and was well executed. I tried to get the physics to break and was only able to manage it a few times. I was a little sad I got a tower roof piece only once and it was the first piece in a level. Really solid game.
Thanks for the game!
I had a smile on my face immedialy after hearing the first music... love that track, had choosen it for a gamejam before for one of my games ;) omg even the second track love that one too. so you definatly had me on the music. good fit for your theme.
I love the colors and parallax clouds. cool idea with the comments of the king.
I think you choose a font which fits the theme, but it is too hard to read for me, would suggest to look for some slightly different medievil font but still more readable .
if noticed a few times that you probably look for something like "if the blocks are placed" and spawn only new ones if the physics have calmed down?
Really cool take on the theme and with some sort of "Tetris" - Style game.
Would have loved to had a visual indikator on the tower height, not just the indikator on top in meter.
Well done! cool game! also probably a good canidate to make it playable on mobile in the future
I totally disagree with the Kings comment...
Nice soundtrack
Short and fun game
Cool idea, had fun playing. I feel like level 5 is not beatable because i need to build higher than the drop hight of a freshly spawned block.
Waiting for the tower to stabilize was sometimes very annoying cause of endless mini wobbles
Thank you so much for the comment. Yeah unfortunately, that was a bug I just didn’t get to. This game definitely has some room for improvement. Thanks for playing my game!
Nice stacking game! Some ideas that would add to the fun:
Soft blocks that crack under pressure of blocks above. Heavy blocks that tip the scales and tower a bit more and make the soft blocks decay faster. Clear blocks with water or sand in them that throw off the balance when tilted.
But as is it's still fun to play.
I enjoyed playing this. Reminded me of tetris a bit, though I would have enjoyed it more if blocks continually fell instead of waiting for the tower to stabilize. Wonder if that could be an option to turn on and off? I got into a situation where the tower was clearly gonna collapse and I just had to watch it teeter back and forth for a solid 10 seconds before I could try to place things again.
Nice entry! With a bit more variation between levels and blocks (maybe blocks with special powers) this could become a really really fun game! The foundation you've built though is already great, and I enjoyed my time playing it :D
Jeff, what are the chances we are in the same game jam!
Cool game man, hope all is well.

Hey Henry! What a small world! Liked your game a lot.
I had fun playing your game! I saw that you had weather changes in your to-do list and I agree those would be a nice addition!
I enjoyed the king's intermissions. The levels seem pretty easy when only the symmetrical blocks are stacked in the middle and the asymmetric ones put to the side. Doesn't seem to be playable beyond 12 meters though due to screen limitations. But the controls feel nice and it's certainly a foundation that can be built upon with more features as you've already mentioned on the game page.
Thanks so much for your nice comment. You know, I never thought of throwing away the angled pieces, lol. It never occurred to me, but a great observation. Could probably have added some kind of penalty or a ground explosion or something. Just didn’t occur to me.
That 12m bug is a stubborn one, 3AM coding… thanks for playing!
