The developers caboose isn't fat it's phat! seriously though good work on an idea!
Great prototype, should be interesting to try a full game from it !
Ahhh, autoplay and loud music on startup.
Otherwise solid base game mechanics.
Fair point. Truth be told, I built in logic to keep the music track turned off when launched from the editor. I guess I should have just left it toggled off. lol.
Really like the parallax background!
Prototype or not, I appreciate how the gameplay and the story both tie into the theme in a different way. Shame about the linear passage of time getting, I would have liked to see the finished version of this.
I enjoyed the game's sense of humor (I almost fell for the first roadblock saying there was no more content, and laughed out loud at the force quit) and the two perspectives journal mechanic. The character switching mechanic felt very smooth as well. Good work!
lol. Thanks. the funny comments were more from the tutorial not being cleaned up after I started adding the plot (such as it is) than it was from being planned that way, but I’m glad you enjoyed it.
The art style is very original, and I really like it. I also enjoyed the character-switching mechanic you implemented. Thank you for sharing this concept with us!
Nice work, cute story, if a bit sad; kids are punks. It would have been nice to see the story progress more and tie into the platforming but I assume typical jam time constraints.
yes, lost four days at the end due to other life happening. Just imagine it stretched out with more obstacles. One of these days I’ll get past the prototype phase….
neat mechanics, it felt smooth to switch back between yourself and the reflection and i had fun w the platforming. didn't encounter any bugs. charming art and music as well. great job!
