For me, it felt as though the game speed was a touch too high and made it feel perhaps a bit too squirrelly and hard to control.

The charm was there in spades, I loved the music and the overall idea. I'll also echo the sentiment though, that it was hard to understand and parse when the laser could fire and for how long it could fire.

Nice entry though! Hope to see y'all around in future jams :)

It's an interesting idea, I think there are only two things missing: The first is some kind of explanation for the stats, I couldn't figure out what each one represents on my own (you can even add this to the game page). The second is to reduce the time between spawns. There are times when I sit idle, waiting several seconds for something to appear. Other than that, it's a good game and was fun to play. Congrats!

Great concept and quite some cool mechanics! The only thing that bothered me is the slow progression - it felt forever to get to even 100 gold, let alone the end goal. Also, the laser duration felt like not long enough, but I supposed that would be changed through upgrades. Great submission anyways!

Cool entry, the prism was a unique touch (but it didn't appear to me to actually damage anything).  Echoing other comments, there are a number of good ingredients but more feedback would help make sense of the rules, as well as help you find bugs.  Keep it up!

The core of the game is pretty solid, but the wave management could use some work.  I ended up waiting on a screen with no enemies for over 30 seconds on multiple occasions.  I also couldn't really tell what the upgrades did, a tooltip when hovering the icons would go a long way.   Great work overall though!

The prismatic effect is really cool - overall it needed a little more feedback when your light was damaging something, as well as some notice when your light was ready to fire again. Great work! Congratulations on the submission
