I really liked the concept and had fun playing the game. I really liked the art but I felt like the pixel size was really small and inconsistent between sprites. I also think the game would benefit immensely from a tutorial.

Good work! There's an interesting core here, and I agree with the other comments on a lot of points here.  Couple additional notes:

  • I couldn't tell what was responsible for where my shots went.  At first it seemed like they just always went to the right regardless of my ship's orientation.  Over time I started getting more projectiles but as far as I could tell the pattern was static
  • The pause menu is bugged.  Opening the pause menu using escape works fine, but if you click the mouse it will process the input on the pause menu without necessarily opening it.  If you click slightly above the ship (where the resume button is), the menu will show long enough to have a fade-out effect.  If you click on the ship (where the restart button is), the game will restart.  If you click slightly below the ship (where the quit button is) the game will quit, which for a browser build just means it will crash and require you to reload the page.

I like the looks and audio, but sadly controls were pretty difficult at the point where you reached max speed, and slowing down only made it hard to evade all the surrounding asteroids. The goal and controls weren’t really explained in the game and that made it difficult to understand them. But overall its not too bad, even with the missing goal and hard controls it was still fun to go around the map chaotically. It’s a good concept and the implementation of reflection was really creative. I had fun playing and I think fun is the most important factor of a game‘s quality. And for 9 days this is pretty good, I‘d love to see this continued on.

Thank you for your review! We will continue working on the game to have a clear ending and several levels.

And actually, we worked only on the last two days :)

I think that maybe the shoot should use the mouse as target, as the ship moves very fast and not in the usual way (not move left/right, but instead turn left/right), then it's hard to hit the enemies. I tried to go slower, but I was quickly surrounded.

Apart from that, it has a good visual and it's fun. Congrats!

Cool art and music! I also like the feel of "speed" in the game, something very different from "vampire survivors", yet that speed makes it especially hard to collect the ore :( Maybe auto-pickup to a higher radius would make it less frustrating?

I also really liked the idea of perma-death as hitting the spot where you died previously - something not relevant in a slower-paced game, but with unpredictable movement due to high speed it can actually be a cool sudden obstacle!

I like the aesthetic and palette choices! The controls feel a bit wild to me but the parallel universe concept on dying is intriguing - there's something to pull on there. Congrats on completing the jam!

There didn't seem to be a win condition or a loss condition, but I don't care. I was having so much fun zooming around the map that I didn't worry about the objective. The asteroid scenes were not getting freed as I went around, and the lag from the memory leak made it feel like I was actually entering warp speed.

The artwork for this game is good - in general, more playtesting was needed. I had fun. Congratulations on the submission!

Thank you so much for your feedback and I'm glad you had fun! We intend to continue the development of this game.

The asteroids are been free but only after you gather the ore that came from the asteroid's destruction.

I think maybe having the ore in another simpler object can help but after we figure out how to make the black holes work they will grow and have a gravitation force destroying anything left behind. I hope doing this will fix the bug.
