Nice work! Really enjoyed the game. Obviously jams don't leave a lot of time to develop a meta so once I got the corners piercing, it was smooth sailing. Another comment was how the snowmen didn't feel like they attacked and I think it's because the projectiles moved fast enough so things just disappear. Have the bulbs shatter and the stronger ones get snowball residue would have been cool.
I also couldn't tell if the snowmen blocked each other, I certainly collected a lot of icicles. And giving the path a border would have been helpful, it had the edge and was colored slightly differently but it was still hard to see a lot of the time.
I "replayed" level 10 because I was enjoying the game until the fps dropped to a slide show after 7-ish (on an older laptop).
This was surprisingly a fun game to play. Struggled a bit with getting the controls mapped and easing in, and the 1st person POV did not help. But overall, it was charming to play.
Almost won. The level 10 was suprisingly hard. After i understood how to build, I used only the snowmans to win levels.
This game was a pretty fun time, I tried it once and got crushed at lvl 10 and then just decided to go pretty much only piercing for my second run and ended up beating level 10. good stuff
I really enjoyed playing this. I wish there was a way to change my pov so that I could see the whole track. I got to level 10 before I was absolutely crushed, but had fun getting there. Great job!
love a good tower defense, I can feel the fact you ran out of time though. It also kind seemed like the snowman didn't really shoot half the time I didn't really understand why. Fun concept though. I salute frosty dedication on the frontlines defending his country.
thanks for the plan and feedback - definitely would want to make a few things clearer with more time. one recommendation to use [T] on a Snowman to tell them to aim at the Back, rather than the fast-moving Front (where they are prone to miss)!
