How does your game fit the theme?
The locks isolate the different water levels and the boats must be isolated in the docks in order to proceed.

I found myself really grooving to the music, and was having quite a lot of fun when there were 4 or more boats on the screen. (The stock photo watermark made me laugh out loud.)

I hope you develop it some more!

I don't really enjoy the gameplay, but that's simply because it's not my type of game. The game is very well made and the mechanics are good. The artstyle is nice and very consistent. Good job!

As a Dutchman, sluices/locks are very recognizable, and I enjoyed that you made a game around them. Unique concept.

GAMEPLAY
Simple yet strategic actions required to operate the locks, with an emphasis on timing for opening and closing. The introduction of a third sluice added a good challenge, suggesting potential for further complexity with more levels and locks or even connected lock. Maybe a bit more speed would have been nice but the slow movement of the boots was also just relaxing.

ART STYLE / VISUALS
The visuals were not top notch, but sufficient and appropriate for the game's theme, with fun little boats.

AUDIO / SOUND DESIGN
The audio was soothing, enhancing the gameplay experience, and the precise lock closing sound was helpful for gameplay feedback.

INNOVATION
The game was not particularly innovative but effectively executed existing mechanics.

THEME
The use of locks for isolation was a clever and thematic approach.

Overall a game jam game well done. Keep up this good work 💪

Very nice and relaxing, and such a unique idea! Instead of a global timer, I think it would be nice to have one timer per boat so that the goal is to ensure every good is delivered on time.

Very original, I've never played a game like this.

I really like this concept and how you took isolation into a more technical approach! This game made me feel as I was God.

Thank you!

Felt like the boats didn’t spawn fast enough to actually stay alive with the time limit. I wonder if instead of a timer, you have a “frustration timer” that builds up as boats are forced to wait instead? Was really excited when the purple and light brown path got added, could see a bunch of different level configurations and stuff being fun. Wish the game ran at like twice the speed though… :)

Thank you for playing. I like the idea of a frustration timer!
