It's astonishing wo you were able to make so many levels in such little time. Amazing!

Nice and polished game! I got stuck in level 1-3 with the toggled platforms but I skipped it and enjoyed some more levels! Very clever puzzles and I love how each character had its own attributes - I enjoyed playing!

Really cool game. Cool mechanics as well. Had a hard time with the unnatural controls but good game overall.

Drop through the semi solids didn't work. So sad((

Developer

Which level did this happen in?

Submitted

The first one.

Developer

Are you holding the S key/Joystick down at the same time/before you press I/jump button?

Nice puzzle "Lost Vikings" game :)

Puzzles are ok but because of this bug with the buttons (multiple characters standing on the button, one leaving, button deactivates but shouldn't) I stuck on the first levels for a few minutes thinking about what I was doing wrong xD

Developer

Yeah I wasn't able to fix that bug, I'm so sorry

It's amazing how many levels and clever puzzles you came with in such a short amount of time frame! The controls were a little rough to understand but it didn't stop me from playing through all the levels. Keep up the good work!

Huh, interesting puzzle, that remind me a one old game. I liked it, thanks for a work :)

Really fun game, pretty unique and challenging. Love the aesthetics and the overall style of it. I also like how each character has a special ability that not only provides an interesting mechanic but also helps the rest of the characters progress. Good job!

The number of levels and mechanics in this game is crazy, awesome work! I liked each character's unique ability, but I wish the control scheme was more intuitive for the keyboard, particularly with switching between characters

Developer

Yeah I couldn't figure out a great control scheme for pc, I gotta work on that

Lots of content! Very impressive for a 3-day jam. The idea of switching between characters that have different abilities was interesting as well. Cool game!

Very interesting proposal, I really liked the dinamics generated trough the change of characters, althought I couldn't pass the first level. I got stuck at the end (couldn't figure out how to get the red guy to the top)

Also, I think generally is best to use the classic controls for the classic movements ("space" for jump, for example).

It shows you have put a lot of content in the game. This is awesome, considering the 72 hs deadline.

Developer

Oh that one's a little tricky at first but easy after you get used to it, at the end of 1-1 you swap to Circil (Red character) and stand ontop of Squarington (Yellow character), then you swap to back to Squarington and jump, then while in the air swap back to Circil and jump off of Squarington. after that you're done!

Definitely love the amount of content on the presentation and it's clear a lot of work went into the game! I feel like a lot of clarity regarding some mechanics and polish would help it a lot (Red being able to stand on yellow but not the other ones or explaining how buttons work in cases like one player stepping out of one and it turning off even if another one is on it), but besides that, it was super fun and I really enjoyed the puzzle aspect in some of the levels! Definitely enjoyed it the most when mechanics where clear and platforming wasn't as important as thinking

For a couple design choices I noticed I feel would improve the game a little bit:

-Seeing some characters in level layouts was hard because of the colors of the background, most noticeably with green in the first area

- I feel like if blue charged their ability completely once they touch the ground it would feel a lot better than having to wait needlessly most of the levels

The amount of work that went into the game is incredible, it felt super cool watching the animated logo at the start. I'd love to see a more polished version of this in the future.

Thank you! I do have plans to make this into a full game in the future. The buttons are a bit buggy and I didn't have the time to fix it fully, the lack of info of mechanics not related to character abilities was meant to play into the puzzle aspect, I can understand your confusion and or frustration about that and I will have optional hints in future versions. Also these characters do have names that are shown in the game page, hud, and some of the text Yellow = Squarington, Red = Circil, Green = Trish, Blue = Dianne, and Light green = Cuben (He's the flying cube you see teaching you mechanics in the game in 1-1)

Developer

Also the thing about the game not telling you about Squarington's ability was a mistake, however I have fixed it now, my bad
