I really liked this! Kind of a Wario Ware tower defense. I've never really seen anything quite like this before. Also, is the red drawing Trogdor? Asking for a friend.
Im really glad that you enjoyed it, wario ware was certainly a huge inspiration :) As for your friend question, i had no idea what trogdor was, and yeah i guess they are pretty similar, but infortunately that was just a coincidence:( But i already knew who strong bad was from The telltale poker game :D

Fun game! I liked the combination of doing your tasks and having to shoot down the monsters, it was fun to multitask, especially with things getting hectic at the end. I also thought it was cool how the monsters looked like it came from a child's imagination.

Wow, this is really great! I love the look and the theme, and the entire "do minigames while defending" concept is really clever. It's difficult but not unmanageable. I wish I'd been better able to tell what the first and last shop items were by their silhouettes, but that's a minor nitpick in an overall very tight experience.
I agree that the shop itens art needs improvement, we'll keep that in mind for future updates!

This game is amazing! This is the first time I played a jam game that had mini games. The amount of different mini games is quite big considering there was a time frame of 2-3 days. Also I love the mini games themselves , they are simple enough to do while also shooting the enemies. One thing I would suggest is to make the words you can get for the typing mini typable with only the left hand, like the word fast. Also I think you should scale up the price of the turrets, because once you get two going it gets way easier to get more money and thus buy more turrets, and it's a positive feedback loop that makes the game easier. Other than that there is nothing I can complain about, overall a great jam game!
Hey thanks for the feedback! We've tried to keep the minigames simple but not trivial, so the player can protect the room while playing.
Words like "quick" and "fear" are good for the typing minigame indeed. We will keep this in mind for future updates!
I agree that some prices are not well balanced as we didn't have much time to balance some things...

Really nice game !
The gameplay is progressively harder and that's making the game really fun. Some minigames are really difficult when you have to focus on defending, which isn't a bad thing.
The music is pretty nice, but sound effect would have made it even better.
The art style is simple yet it work really well since your playing a kid, and increase immersion.
