Very cute graphics and very chill music. I like this game quite a bit.
But please can you fix the hitboxes for collecting stuff? I was constantly tripping over it, up to the point where i would craft a orange stone tree and he was stuck under the machine and i couldn’t collect it, which ended my playthrough. I think it would also great you could just close the quest windows when the player attempts to walk away, it really annoyed me to have to use the mouse there every time.
Thanks for giving it a play 😊Yeh I'm sorry the collection and hit boxes definitely need to be fixed. After the jam is done I would like to go back and fix things up and add everything I wanted to.
Cute aliens and nice animations. The sound is very relaxing! Good job.
But I couldn't find the orange rock. :-(
Thanks 😊to get the rock orange you have to plant the tree you get from the mission before. It grows from that tree.
This was really fun and cute! I wasn't expecting a fully featured rpg. Congrats on making something so complete.
Thank you 😊Was fun to try something so ambitious and get something out.
This one is a cute in the way that the art style reminds me of Scribblenauts, a shame you didn't get to finish implementing some mechanics in time for the jam. I do hope to see more from this lil project if not just rounding out what was started. I do say that the mechanic of not being able to pick up your Suckers after they're done annoys me a little since I could have recycled them for the quests that needed Splats. I was also hoping for just a tinge more content, which lead me to walk around the whole map to make sure your not hiding a secret hermit that'll teach me how to make a mine (One where I can get resources from, but not a bad idea to craft an entrance for players to get invested into a game ;D ). Great work!
Thanks 😊 After the jam is done I would like to go back and finish up what I wanted to do.
I really liked this one, fun little game about an alien, fit the theme well and I loved the music. Would have liked to seen more audio, but these things are always pressed for time. Excellent work!
Feel free to come check out our game Zixels 2!
Thanks :) I'll check out your game
Great submission :)
Thanks :)
Cool. I like the map and the music. good job I'll rate it now. :)
Thank you :)
Nice! But the quests became more of a hurdle than enjoyable as you need to gather so much material for each of them after a while.
Thanks :) Yeh that is fair. I guess I was trying to force people to use the other aliens to do collecting, maybe didn't balance it enough. Thanks for playing though, much appreciated :D
Such a good game, I really love the mechanics and the art it's beautiful, I think it will turn into a full game without troubles
Thank you very much :) I really started
Cute little farming/quest based game. Sometimes it is quite hard to pick up a crafted item.
Thanks :) Yeh I did find that myself as well. I toyed around with the size and placement of the area that triggered collection for quite a while. I think I would take a different approached if I tried it again.
Awesome start to what could be a really great Stardew Valley-esque alien crafting/farming game! Really liked the intro quests and alien neighbors you can interact with. I encountered a couple of bugs (possible that I just didn't understand the crafting mechanics perfectly as well) - I think with the crafting system refined a bit this game could grow into something pretty amazing!
Thank you :) The crafting did turn out a bit awkward. Once you start crafting you have to wait for it to end and also empty the collection area. Was going to change it but as always ran out of time haha.
Neat game! Nice art style and music :). There were a few bugs, but nothing too bad. I really like the little space backpack :D, the particles are a great touch. Good job on the game!
Thanks much appreciated :) Haha I'm sure there are more than a few bugs with how I was throwing it all together on the last day.
