I could literally run this right now after reading it which is the mark of a great one-shot in my opinion. Layout is perfect for a shot. The scroll from the Abbot at the beginning is a nice touch. Great work.
Love the clickable music links, although I'm not sure about the longevity of such links, I do really enjoy you included that here. I use Bardify in so many of my games as a DM too.
Thank you for your nice words <3
wonderful gargoyle and ghost knight fellhar, one page dungeon design that makes it a dream to run and killer visuals throughout. I am in awe at how much you achieve with such little page space. Gothic premise for the adventure scratches an itch I haven't been able to scratch since writing my dissertation on the subject. I am convinced you wrote this specifically for me <3 Horace Walpole would love it!
Yes we did, we always thought nazrat would love this <3 /s :D
Super nice map, and very strong theme enhanced by the music. The NPCs also have strong personalities. Looks like a great adventure with a good balance of exploration, combat, and social encounters.
Excellent work, clean layout and very thematic, Fun location and interesting NPCs to interact with, information is presented well, Map and artwork are great and all the extra additions are neat too. perhaps it feels a little cramped, and could be more concise on the dungeon keys, but overall, it is very well written! Belltower Gargoyle gives me Dark Souls 1 PTSD (mostly just the music).
Thx for the Feedback! Bell Tower Gargoyle was directly inspired by Darksouls 1 :D loved that boss fight. Nicely spotted ;)
I thought that thing enough times it's ingrained in my psyche XD
Sweet little bite sized dungeon, love it. The inclusion of the info about where the key is, and what the key goes to is a nice touch 👌
Thank you, i think it was a last minute edit :D so it was worth it <3
That isometric dungeon map is so dope. The layout of the dungeon all around it sells it, too. Got me re-evaluating how I communicate locations in my own works.
Thank you <3, took a tone of time. I feel what you say, a lot of other works also incorporated art or maps in a creative way which expanded my horizon a lot. In retrospective we should have done more art and incorporated it even better. Like speech bubbles for the npcs and they tell the reader what they want in their words. We definitely learned a lot in the jam.
Great little adventure, earning high marks in all categories. My only complaint is that you have a few extra pages of space, so maybe you could have been more generous with the font size and leading, making the adventure easier to read. But overall, fantastic job.
I think we misunderstood the allowed pages. We thought we only could use 8 dina4 pages and thats what we used. The font size was set to 13 px at the beginning but we needed to reduce it to 11 because of the little space.
This is a great One Page Dungeon with such nice art and stat blocks for all the enemies which will make it easy to run. It's really in the spirit of Ben Milton's work and I love it. Also appreciate you guys picking appropriate music for the different scenes ;)
Thank you for your kind feedback <3
