THANK YOU ALL FOR ALL THE VOTES AND MY GAME’S GREAT SCORE!!!!
Congratulations to all entries and to those who took the time to vote in so many games!
I was really not expecting my game to be noticed in this jam (Impostor syndrome) and getting the reception it had but, now looking at the numbers that came from you, I’m totally impressed!
Thank you!
The itch’s voting thing needs a lot of work and maybe in the future will be less of a problem.. Maybe one solution is itch to allow by default custom voting systems, for those who want to be responsible for the calculations, want to implement special rules and know how to program math! (system needs to be set before voting starts and transparent to the voters)
Back to the results - Accounting to “the purge” my game’s best scores are:
Overall: 8
Game Design: 4
Art Direction: 4
I’m really happy with the numbers… really, really happy! You made my year! THANK YOU!!!
Fantastic work all around. Great art and atmosphere with some fun puzzles. Love the UI design!
Thank you!
I think having the option to just type in the entire sequence without having to add each step could have been a nice touch. The wind mechanic got me hung up on a few tries, which I wish I could have started over from the sequence instead of from the very beginning. The art style was great and the the game mechanic concept was very simplistic. I played it on stream here:
Thank you for playing, streaming and voting on it! I wasn't expecting so many stars!
About your comment: Notes taken!
Thank you to all of you who played, voted and commented my game. This was a great and funny week!
INCREDIBLE GAME! Loved the amount of detail in the artwork, the soundtrack and sound fx, the realistic transmission of information in radio. It was very immersive experience. Absolutely loved it.
I loved it! Such a beautiful game, not only talking about the lovely handcrafted graphics, the amazing soundtrack and the emersion that all combined suck you in since minute 1, but the beauty that lies within the challenges the game brings you, the gameplay idea is super clever, and personally I love games that make me think, ones that pose me a challenge and I need to think to get through it, if you are like me, you will love this one. You can notice the developer's love for this kind of theme, you notice the effort and passion in the building of this game.
It's a beautiful work! Excellent work!! Congratulations!!
If you liked this one, you should definitely check the others from him, they are great as well! I really liked the last one, same vibes as this one.
Keep the amazing work!!! All good!!
Thank you for your kind words... they touch me a little! I'm overwhelmed with the reaction. Thank you....
I loved this! Very interesting implementation of the connection theme and the gameplay was fun! I also like the artstyle a lot! Excellent work!
Outstanding...the music, the art, the tutorial step by step, the idea, the UI! , mostly everything.
For me, it is incredible how someone can think and execute a game like this in just 10 days.
CONGRATS!
Great art style, great atmosphere, good music and SFXs
Amazing job!
Great game. There a neat atmosphere with the right music, and sounds effects. Even the button press feels concrete. Well done.
I had a blast with this! One of the few games that had me playing for extended periods.
As the levels went on, I has wish the arrow and add buttons were closer together, but apart from that an amazing experience, a 5/5 from me.
I'm speechless! I was honestly not expecting and I'm glad to ear that.
I also thought about the issue of the buttons being too far apart, but the future goal is the steam deck with a touch screen... I've tried it on a mobile browser and the experience was quite different and more immersive! I really wanted the player to have the feeling of a 70's NASA mission controller that had to type everything in an old keyboard... well, new back then!
Thank you for your words... you made my day!
a really great game i would've liked to keep playing but the rover kept disappearing , this happened twice , i play a level but dont complete it , the "you havent reached target "menu opens i click continue and the rover is gone , when i come back to the game and click continue its still not there for some reason , you gotta fix that because such a great game cant have a game breaking bug like that one
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Yep! I know... those player prefs...! some how the position of the rover gets miss read when that happen and it gets the position from other place I will surely solve that after the jam! Thank you for playing!
this is something different!
An amazing game, thoroughly enjoyed it! The art is stunning as well as all the animations. I have found a bug though - after I failed a mission, upon the restart the Rover disappeared from the map and I couldn't locate it at all. Other than that, well done!
Fantastic work on this. Reminded me of Duskers, and a great use of the theme.
I did encounter a bug where I would go into some menu, like get the menu to recharge, then come back into the game to find the rover had jumped several squares over. This only happened a couple times, but the last time was to off the screen, and then I crashed into some rocks.
Really great work on your game. Love the art.
played your game with crafty, here's the link:
Thank you for playing and streaming it!
I loved it, nice mood, SFX and score fits well with the art direction. Again great work!

Super polish! The visuals and the UI are really good, sound design is crisp, this doesn't seems like a game from a gamejam. Great work!
Super unique kind of game. I see you went with the theme application of connecting to the goal through the journey. It was really neat how the game was setup as taking the role of a mars rover operator with the full equipment and everything.
I did run into a bug where the text box covered my character so I had no idea where it was until I tried moving around multiple times. I also got kind of confused when I was only able to use one 'execute' per round as I got deeper into the game, and then I realized that need to be doing multiple adds and one execute, which I think is a little confusing at first but clever, because it adds tension to the gameplay.
I would suggest adding more elements to mix it up, like enemies that shoot projectiles that move one square each time that you move one square, or portals that transport you from one location to another.
I worked on this game for the global game jam that was also about a mars rover, in case you are interested: https://globalgamejam.org/2022/games/superpositioned-4. It has the portal mechanic I am talking about as well.
