Short but sweet. The camera needs some work but the concept is really solid. I liked how your game even had a bit of lore behind it, that's incredible for a game made in just a week.
Really cute game with some nice platforming mechanics. Nice work!
Thank you so much!
I really love the concept of the game, it adds a lot to a simple platformer, the art and the sounds and music are really great. i enjoy it a lot!
Thank you so much, that means a lot!!
Wow, loved the concept of this one, as well as the characters and music. I definitely found it a bit hard to reprogram my brain away from using standard platformer controls, and then having 4 possible directions to think about in mid air, I wonder if there's a way to simplify or perhaps that stuff could be used later in the game. Overall though this is great stuff :)
Hahaha I personally had to talk my way through the platforms before I got used to it 😊😅
Thanks so much for your feedback!
I like the mechanic of the directional socket a lot, it has some great gameplay potential!
I also appreciate the story and conversations, it's a short, sweet and charming adventure.
But here are some things that can be improved:
-Maybe instead of arrow keys, the WASD control can be used. Because I realize Sprocky changes to the + shape whenever jumping or falling, so probably let the player move the socket direction via WASD when airborne, making it more simple to use. While when grounded, user can press S, to interact with objects.
-Also, the "E" button can be used for interact as well, as it seems the more general control for that. It's also easier to press when skipping dialogue.
-The difficulty curve got a bit high at the start, so maybe ease that a bit.
-and lastly, the main dialogue text content can be a brighter color or white, for more readability.
I hope this helps!
So yeah, experience was solid, no bugs whatsoever, great work overall!
Thank you soooooo much for taking the time to write such valuable and thorough feedback! So kind of you. I really appreciate it. The game will be updated after the jam so please stay tuned! Thanks so much.
This is superb! Great concept, art, and game design. Up there with the best.
The socketing system is a little precise and unforgiving, you might try extending the minimum distance required to socket.
Really enjoyed it!
Thank you so much for the feedback, John! So happy to hear you enjoyed Sprocky!

Really enjoyed it!
Awesome game! The overall concept and ideas were absolutely amazing and very well executed!
Thank you so much! We really appreciate it!
A very fun and cute little game. Another interesting take on the theme that I never would have thought of! Well done!
Thank you so much! So glad you enjoyed it!
Loved the platforming mechanics a really good concept and well executed! Great job!
Thanks for playing!
Funny characters. Reminds me some early 90's games! good work
Glad you liked our robots!
Amazing game! I enjoyed it a lot! :D
Thanks! Hope you found all the robot friends!
Yep! :D
Nice art and concept! The movement is a little delayed and disjointed but the mechanics are still pretty cool. Good job!
Thank you!
The art and gameplay in this is great. I love the idea of being able to connect to so many different objects to help you platform, and also that it provides certain ones power. My only complaint is that the jump feels weird. The falling is fine, the jump just feels unnatural. Not really sure what it is.
Thanks for your feedback! There's a bit of a spacey feel when you jump for sure - which could look and feel unnatural. Glad you enjoyed it!
A cute game with a lot of character! I found it to be a little too difficult to snap into the right spot sometimes, so perhaps if Sprocky was a little more floaty or if the connectors were more forgiving, it would make everything feel a lot smoother and less frustrating. This is definitely a cool mechanic I could see being expanded on further, nice job!
Thank you! It's not that obvious that you could hold space for a more floaty jump - we definitely should advertise that earlier in the game. We were going for a precision game that is meant to be challenging, but not something that frustrates our players. The connectors definitely need adjusting for leniency. Thanks for playing and hope you found all the robots!
Great game !
The art and all the visuals are really nice & coherent.
Loved the concept of connecting to platforms. Very challenging at first but once you get the hang of it it's very satisfying.
I found it a bit short (meant as a compliment, because I wanted to play more of it)
Only little issue is the ui & texts were very small (might be due to my screen resolution if you didn't activate the "scale to screen size" on you canvas)
Appart from that, perfect jam game. well done :)
Thank you! We definitely would have added more levels given more time. Out of curiosity, what resolution did you play in?
I played on a macbook retina 3024×1964 (macbooks are full of weird resolutions like that ^^)
Such a good game. This deserves more time and effort to make a full fledged game. Art, sound and gameplay are all on point.
Great job!
That means a lot to our team, thanks for playing!
This game is actually great 5 star for innovation love the unique idea and reallyu hits the theme . nice artstyle and animations too. well done good submission
Thank you! Hope you were able to find all the robots!
I think the idea is awesome. I think the level design could have been adjusted a little better. The first set of platforms above the red lazer was frustrating and tough. It would have been better as a later challenge, or let the connections be a bit more forgiving. Great story, great artwork, great idea and mechanics as a whole.
Thanks for your feedback! I agree that particular puzzle was introduced too early without a lead up on how to connect with the side sockets and is too punishing. I'm glad you still enjoyed it!
Pretty interesting take on a platformer!
I liked how you could adjust the direction your connector was positioned to jump between platforms and to rotate the blocks, very interesting mechanic.
Oh the animations were adorable, I loved lil Sprocky and the faces the other robots made when powered on, especially the platforms!
Great game and great job chief!
Thank you so much for your kind response! So glad you had fun!
