Did you work in a team?
This was a solo project.
Was the resolution a challenge?
For this one not at all. I picked a game that I knew I could easily fit within those restrictions.
What did you learn?
I entered this jam to learn how to drag sprites and restrict the movement of them as there is another game that I want to use with that same interactive function in the future. I now feel more confident about making that other game.

when i play one of these games i always realise how bad i am at these :D nicely implemented
Arrrgh, it forced me to think.
And that is good :D
Nicely done!
Nice little slide puzzle, although I was never the best at these things. Everything works as you'd expect, and the music is nice to listen to. I like the first two puzzles the best. The hidden puzzles are a very clever little addition. In the grid-based puzzles there is a minor issue where the tiles are split in a way that leaves the outline half-pixel thickness compared to the rest of the tile's resolution, although all other puzzles perfectly follow the resolution.
It shouldn’t be a half pixel as all the art and the game board itself is just 64x64 and all movement is one pixel at a time. But on the edges the black line is just one pixel rather than the two pixels it is when two pieces are next to each other. You can actually shrink the board down to 64x64 by using the “-“ button if you like.
This was a fun game! I like these type of slider puzzles, so they were satisfying to do.
I can never do these puzzles so I'm happy I completed the first one. Very good execution and I like the nice looking low res images.
Thanks! I am glad you were able to complete it, I find them very satisfying to play.
I can't do these puzzles :') Im not gonna mark you down for my dum though ^^ but I will mark you down for not doing a 64x64 tile picture haha :)
The game itself is 64x64. But I do wish I had the artistic skill to create really detailed pixel art rather than just scaling down larger images to 64x64. I am always really amazed by the artistic skill you see from many people in the jams.
I didn't mean the pictures themselves, I meant a puzzle with 64x64 moving tiles haha, so moving 1 pixel at a time ^^
I feel your pixel art pain though, some people are just on an insane level of talent.
Got it…now I am tempted to add in a secret 64x64 more in when the jam is over. It would likely be totally impossible, but that would be half the fun.
Great slider game and nice use of the restriction!
Very polished game and great use of the resolution!
Good job.
You can add control with arrow keys to simplify the PC experience.
Cute little puzzle game, really cool music. :)
Works nicely! Good job.
Good mini-game, i really enjoyed it!
Solid
Controls felt good! Sliding games like this are always fun and good for our brain training ^^
Pretty cool! Good music and sound effects. Satisfying to slide the pieces.
I love classic sliding puzzle games and this one is small enough to not be overwhelming. Great job!
I played this game for a lot longer than I thought I would, it's really quite a fun, simple puzzle game.
Good sliding game :)
We've also joined to LOWREZJAM and our entry is also based on sliding games but with an adventure approach. If you want to have a look.
Good job!
