The game was made in 2 weeks, despite the short time it's quite long! Good graphics, good music, quite high difficulty, addicting! Amazing!

This is great! ^^ I think with some very minor tweaks this could be an amazing game, you already have the levels and the atmosphere is great, the animations and audio are great too!

One easy fix I think might help would just be no insta deaths on falling into water maybe? ,':\  also those long wait times on moving platforms to come back, maybe when the gap is long make the platform stop at each end, and you can walk on it again to go back over. Solid entry for a jam I really enjoyed playing! :)

Game a lot bigger than expected for jam! Good old vibes of Prince of Persia. Nice control and overall presentation. Had a nice time with it.

Seems like alot of content. I managed to get up to stage 8 but there were some points of issue that made the game more frustrating than intended. The jump off the rope doesn't always work and there are times when you can fall to you death or into an obstacle with little warning because the way the camera is positioned. Decent work overall.

Loved it! Was a little hard, but that’s ok 😃

Very cool. Loved the look.

Wall jumping was super frustrating though. Letting go to early or not holding jump long enough was extremely unpredictable.
There were also a few spots that had blind drops into water which felt kind of unfair.

The jump and rope climb sounds were kind of weird.

A really well-rounded entry, congratulations! Top notch sprite work, animations, sound, and music. I feel like the gameplay could be slightly less punishing — perhaps introducing a couple of mid-level checkpoints would do the trick.

My biggest issue is probably the camera's implementation. For one, the movement is quite nervous. It could do with a Mario-style insensitivity window. Another thing is that the damping curve's long tail unfortunately highlights the low resolution in an unpleasant way.

Overall fantastic work, you should all feel proud!

very nice game, i loved almost every aspect of it. i couldnt get through the double jumping level, and i dont like instant death in games, but everything else was very well made.

i will be honest - the game isnt good. as a platforming game the platforming should feel good, this isnt the case in this game. there is no reason for a variable jump to exist as you never need to jump lower then your maximum jump but beacuse the variable jump exists, jumping is annoying beacuse you dont always make jumps just beacuse you didnt press the button for long enough. there is no coyote time or input buffer on anything which makes jumping and wall jumping annoying. I didnt have fun traversing the enviorment beacuse of the clunky controls.

The game is really great :) if you go deep on the story and mechanics it has the potential to be on steam

Awesome game! The art was my favorite part, the color and level design is really well done and great at portraying the environment. The gameplay was well polished and fun, and I appreciated the lenient difficulty. I wish water didn't insta-kill as it made certain gems REALLY frustrating to get, and the sounds were a little rough I felt (though it seems I'm alone in this :) ), but overall this is such a good entry. Great job!!

The atmosphere is really well done and the platforming is also fun… but the wall jump could be a little bit friendlier to use

I really liked the music and the sounds - together with the graphics and the themed game page it’s really a nice and polished entry :)

It looks very nice and the sound design is very well made, the gameplay is simple but the wall jumping could be a bit more flexible to control it. But otherwise a fun game!

Fun game! I'm not the best platformer player but I enjoyed the graphics and the music as I repeatedly fell off the ropes and into the water. Good work y'all!

I only got the stage 3 or 4 I think it was. I couldn't get up the double wall jumping bit because the guy wouldn't go far enough and would just grip the wall again. Then there was a wee lag spike and I fell in water, lol.

Otherwise is looks and sounds great.

Fun game, i got to stage 5, i think the size of the character and enviaorment work well to give vison to the player.

Cool game, I always really enjoy platformers! my only suggestion is that some alternate control schemes would be nice. Nice job!

Challenging, but fun at the same time. Nice match of music to the scene. Great pixel art.

Cool seeing you used Godot as well :)

I really enjoyed the game! A little bit hard sometimes, tight jumps but still good. Loved the art, backgrounds are amazing and music is really nice too!

Great job!

I like that you made the tile set available separately haha that's a nice touch. One piece of feedback is that the wall jumping can be tricky, and that I died at least once falling down a hole that had water to one side or the other which I couldn't really know (Though I leaned through acquiring level knowledge as I played which may be the point), but other than that the controls were tight and it felt good to maneuver around the level and tense jumping over water pits (Especially on the 1 tile pillars).

The backgrounds and level tiles are gorgeous, this game looks amazing, and the music is really evocative and pleasing to listen to, it sounds thematically really tuned to the atmosphere of the game as well which is a really nice extra level of polish in a jam game. Lots of nice transitions and general ui juice as well, reminds me of an arcade machine.

All in all a fantastic entry, really polished good job!
