Did you work in a team?
Just Prutte and I! I decided to join the jam super last minute and made this in a little over two days. Bimsy lives on in low rez!
Was the resolution a challenge?
Limitations are always a challenge, and such a low resolution puts a lot of emphasis on readability! Having everything always be in the same spots and making the game rely mainly on muscle memory gave me the allowance for a lot more juiciness and squishy visual effects, that don't really make the game visually clear at all (but they look great!!!)
What did you learn?
It was my first time making an interactive tutorial! I need to make one for the other game I'm working on, so it was nice seeing that it's not too hard to do! :)

I did have lots of fun, omg! The audio, the pay day and the fact we can punch flowers and bees made me have sooo much fun, haha! Awesome & beautifully cute entry! Well done!
wooow this game is really cool, excellent gameplay and very good art style, it's amazing!
Great looking and the animation is pretty superb. A huge accomplishment for such a small canvas.
The graphics and audio are great and in general everything feels super polished.
Gameplay wise though it seems really basic and honestly didn't really keep me engaged for very long.
Maybe another mechanic, or unlocks/collectables, etc. anything really to add a bit of variety and give me a reason to keep playing for longer than a minute or two.
Oh no :') all that poo got me, the poo sounds at the end sounded just like conquers bad fur day too ^^ haha. Really well polished game, everything works so well together :)
The animation is really really good. The music and sound design as well.
High Score $1059 (A-). I might just be slow but I didn't realize I was growing crops to sell the first time through so when it started adding up my score at the end I hadn't really grown anything other than to use as projectiles. Fun little game and I appreciated the minimal controls needed to learn!
I really liked the juice and the polish of the game.
The music in this is great though I wish there was some kind of progress meter. Overall very nice for only using ~2 days.
The charm here is immense. very cool use of the graphical limitations. It looks great and readable in even the smallest of windows. I wish there was some indication of how you were doing other than the payday screen, but I can see how that may have caused too much noise on-screen with the rest of the game. Cool entry. I was able to get an A- (just over $1000).
Great game! At the start I didn't know the goal was to collect as many vegetables as possible, but after the first playthrough that became very clear. Very quick and has a lot of satisfying visual flair!
why do i love so much to punch the flowers? XD
Absolutely beautiful, and great music too! From a gameplay side it was difficult to understand if I was progressing properly or just randomly messing about! :D
Very positive game :) Yeah, give it seasons )))
very cute, also the day/night and seasons cycles were excellent additions
One of the best of jam
Nice entry with great graphics and a very unique mechanic… the punhing on the corrupted sprouts is a nice one! Everything fits well together and forms a great entry. Great Job!
Crazy effort for how short amount of time you guys used. The core gameplay is very interesting, feels like a multi-layered minigame. The art and juice is awesome too, feels very satisfying pulling out those veges. Awesome work.
Beautiful sprites and animation! I don't know much about subpixel animation but it seems like you've mastered it. I liked the music too, very fitting.
Great job! But in process of playing i was a bit confused by what happened in screen but it takes short time to understand the general mechanic.
