The art and sound are very effective - creepy and mysterious!
The game has a really unique tone, very moody and unsettling. I feel like the character will die with every decision after the first interaction, which makes the game very suspenseful. This is definitely one of the most stylized games that I have seen so far. The art is nice and the music enhances the experience. Great work!
Very atmospheric and a little spooky. I'd love to see the end result if you decide to continue it good job!
A really interesting concept and beautiful art style for this game.
I also think your use of SFX and the music in particular are perfect, really builds the atmosphere of the game and gives it this otherworldly, surreal feel as you explore.
Enjoyed this and think you should definitely explore this further :)
Woah, that monster scene was amazing ~ Love the death as a mechanic idea. Got a little confused by the doors, if there was a touch more lighting to indicate this way behind the door is closed or blocked off, but overall got the idea after awhile~ Such a moody vibe, everything was depressing but in a good way :)
Friend, you are quite a visionary, good concept, you really manage to stand out, by the way, good design of the creature.
Really appreciate the kind words :-)
Interesting concept.
Very atmospheric, I liked the creepy feeling of walking passed my own dead body. I was wondering whether the girl in the mirror was a future me come back to kill me so she could progress.
Very impressed. Art was great, atmosphere was spot on. Music perfectly matched. Got a surprise I had to die to continue.
Very cool! I loved the tiny scares here and there. The girl appearing in the mirror behind you when you walk by + the girl at the top of the stairs were both well-done. The death/resurrection mechanic was also interesting.
The game felt a little ‘on-rails’, but it still had some great moments (the mirror was my favorite part). The game’s mood/atmosphere is also great, nice job!
I found the story intriguing, but maybe the execution is a little linear. The music perfectly matches the mood, though, and the audio is spot on. I'd definitely like to see where you take this!
very cool! I love the setting, the atmosphere and the concept of dying to move forward. the character sprite animation is awesome too. and the creepy mirror reflex :scream::scream::scream:
very good :) I would definitely love to see how the story continues :)
Glad the scares were good. I was shooting for “NOPE.” closes browser… made it at times difficult to build cause I kept scaring myself.
I really liked this one. I love the tone, and its atmosphere is something I really really like. I think this was a really creative and cool way to use the small resolution! I think everything here creates a very interesting experience. Beautiful game. Very well done!
Game Crashed after the girl killed me on the stair case. Otherwise was a very creepy and intriguing experience.
This was great - some really evocative imagery, some great scares and a wonderful sense of foreboding throughout. The music and the almost monochromatic visuals give a really sombre feeling
Would love to see more - intruiged to see how everything ties together!
To put it simply, I want more. Really enjoyed this game and its puzzles. Only feedback I have is clicking on the text to choose what to do, I had to click on twice before for it register the click
I think you have something interesting here. Using you dead body to unlock paths is definitely a unique mechanic, and I'd love to see more.
Would love to see the complete game...
I really liked the eerie atmosphere. Game feels a bit short and there aren’t many options.
This is really cool!
