Nice little narrative game. Felt is was missing a lot of feedback in actions, mostly sound effects for interactions and when you find a key, and would have been nice if you were able to change the environment visually in any way. But I understand that you joined quite late into the jam and so for that, you did well.

nice little game, the art looks nice! I agree with the other comments, a UI or sound to indicate that the player has found the key would be nice to add.

here my score btw.

woah that gave me the chills!

The voice acting was such a nice feature that added so much to the experience! i gotta say this is quite the professional package you have made. a sound effect or a on screen indicator that you got a key+how many you have would have definitely been nice. ig its my turn to wait for someone to give me a helping hand

all in all, great work

Keep making games!

Thanks for the feedback! I’m not planning on quitting 8D

Fun game! I personally like the idea of searching around and trying to figure out what's going on. The voice acting was a nice surprise :)

Nice twist! Voice acting is nice to listen to as a bonus.

That was certainly something. Could've used a lot more QoL features like indicating what is and isn't interactable, or a tracker for how many keys you have besides just checking the locker. Closed captions could also be nice given there's spoken dialogue with no way to replay it. Also, having to interact with stuff multiple times to find something is somewhat annoying. There's certainly something to this concept but this sadly feels like a chore.

Thanks for the feedback! I wanted to make a small game and allowed myself little time to complete it. So you’re right, in a full week I could’ve done more.

I’ll try to update it soon. I might add closed captions as an option, and add logs on the Tab/pause menu too. I’m afraid simultaneous CC and text would be troubling, but also much more inclusive. I’ll think about an interaction indicator, but I kinda like the Pokémon feel you know, and it’s part of the game to search, it’s actually the only mechanic x)

I love the psychological horror aspect of the game, and the music does a great job of reinforcing that. I had trouble trying to finish it as the game kept crashing after about ~2 or so minutes. Overall it was fun!

Thanks for the feedback! I am curious about this crash. Could you give me more infos, like your OS and browser if you played the HTML version?

No worries! I was playing the HTML version  on Safari 17.3 using macOS Sonoma 14.3.
