nice idea and visuals! I couldn't figure out the controls, maybe a tutorial or more instructions could help!
Lots of atmosphere. I could tell there was a lot going on under the hood, and that even for this smaller version of the concept there is a good deal of depth to the mechanics. Well done!
Very cool atmosphere, really spooky. I could not figure many of the controls and were not able to do much, worth adding them on the game page!
Very intriguing game, was a bit confused though and couldn't make it very far. Also the controls were a little bit awkward not sure if that's something on my end. Very atmospheric though.
Intriguing little platformer. Though I was pretty confused as to what to do. I don't think I saw the mech. The sandy water thing was death because I couldn't swim. So I didn't get much further than the start because I wasn't sure what to do.
Fun start. Good foundation, but could definitely do with some guidance/tutorial and things to let the player know what's going on. I love the visuals and audio you've got going on, can make for a spooky game for sure. One thing I might suggest is either zooming out the perspective a bit or making jumping less extreme. It's a bit jarring to jump and have the screen scrambling a bit to keep up.
But like I said, definitely a good start to a game here. Seems like there's lots of underlying systems that don't really get to shine and I feel like with some polish this could be a cool game for sure.
I loved the mood in this
This looks pretty great, i love the filter affect you have over it, but i am completely lost on how this game actually works.
First, i searched for the controls, which i only discovered the 4th time i went into the options menu, becaues they are hidden in a gray tone in the corner. Then despite switching to querty (which should be the default, if it isn’t) the controls still seem to be messed up. I’m walking forward with D as expected, but backwards with Q and upward is Y for some reason? I’m completely confused. Also the swapping key does nothing, no idea what that is supposed to do? (If anything yet)
Then im just running around and am permanently loosing, i have no clue what to do. This game needs a good tutorial for sure, else everyone will be lost.
The atmosphere and sounds are generally pretty well, i just think there are too many sharp high pitch sounds (especially in the sounds menu) that are really unpleasant.
For the controls, looking back it, after a couple of days out of the game: they are difficult to see at first glance, every binds (beside the repo bind which indeed cannot be changed in this version) works perfectly for me (even after being rebinded), the intent behind letting the player switch keys was to let them play with their favorite keys layout (maybe they like all game keys close to each other, maybe they like to have them far apart, etc).
For the game goals (as stated in the game description): you need to gather resources (with your gun) to repair your mech and re-establish contact with the outside world, you can view and be reminded of the objectives by popping the escape menu and click the help section, now I did thought after submitting the game that it lacked a bit of explanation (which I added further down the game page) but since I didn't know if we were allowed to modify after submitting, I left my game build unchanged.
Sorry for the inconveniences and thank you for playing !
