Awesome game, I loved the monochromatic graphic style, you nailed it perfectly. I was also impressed by the controls and the LD, which are well done. I think that your game can expand to something bigger, keep it up!

I set out to make all the abilities in the game centered around the main weapon. If I had more times I would have added some more enemies which could only be defeated using certain abilities, like an enemy with a shield which could only be destroyed by exploding a mine inside it, or enemies which could only be hurt by hitting its top/bottom.
My dude why don't you just release this right now. 5 star on everything!
Nice controls, was confused that the character bot(?) didn't have an up-facing/down-facing sprite, it seemed like it was supposed to be top-down but was it really side-to-side? Nice music, nice color palette, nice looking sprites, too. Liked it a lot!
The perspective is a bit confusing. It was intended to be seen as a side-scrolling Shoot 'em up, but it looks more like a top-down shooter.
That music was great! It really got my hyped. And it was really challenging. Great game!
The art, music and gameplay are really great, the i got lost a bit because and i couldnt get a sense of direction. And it is hard! like really hard, but in a good way, i got frustrated a couple of times, but i wanted to go forward besides that. Great job!

The world was made so that the Gift of Life - known by its lesser name of Surgevania - could be bestowed upon us mere mortals, and I for one shall forever be grateful. Do not be a plebeian; play this game and have your third eye awoken.
