yeah mixing things up a bit hee hee . but I am planing to give metroidvainia month jam a try again this year. So it will be back to platforming

Good game, a bit hard and punishing: some enemies are very fast. By spamming mouse button and moving quickly it is possible to kill enemies in the spawn areas, off screen, before they can appear.
Awesome game! great gameplay, but I think its difficulty is too high , I really enjoyed it 😁
I like the gameplay, looks different about what I normally play. I only loose for the yellows😭.
Three thing, how about you mote character as in Zuma game using the mouse? If the enemies type start changing during the gameplay? And one indicator for show the course of the bullet? Besides, Congratulations!

The difficulty is too high. As Macrow mentioned, the controls are pretty difficult which doesn't help with the difficulty.

Really cute game and fun for a while! A bit of difficulty scaling could be nice, and also I have no idea how to deal with those friggin' blue beetles, I can't stop their shot for the life of me! Some upgrades, permanent incremental stat boosts after every run and more enemies and you've got quite the game on your hands! Great job!
Ha Ha Ha. The W key put up a shield that blocks the bullets that the beetle shoots. thanks for playing and your encouragement!
The game is simple but fun for a while. Considering the time constraints of the Jam, it's quite good. As a suggestion, the art doesn't feel unified. If the background sand were pixel art, it would look better.
