A Hong kong 97 reference? I see you're a man of culture as well.Awesome game

Fun to play. Reminds me of the Beetle Blaster minigame from Super Mario RPG.

This game is truly crème de la crème. The graphics, the music, the pure juice of the SFX, the bullets ricocheting into other enemies, beautiful! This was really fun to play and I could get sucked into it for hours. Of course it is like playing a short round, the depth is in understand the enemies skills and combining that with timing.  Great job!

Developer

Thank you so much! I'm glad all that time that went into adding in all those effects paid off in the end, and I'm glad you enjoyed the mechanics too!

Nice arcade game, I wished if there was a way to get back my bullets, also the alien's random spawning nature is kind of annoying since you just need to wait till there is a bunch of them in the screen then attack.

Plus, the music and visuals are excellent.

And on a completely unrelated note, the description is way too long I couldn't read a thing :D

Visuals are very cool. I really liked this game.

Wow. Visuals and sound were amazing. Love the art style. The colored outlines as a way of differentiating enemies looks really clean.

Interesting tie to the theme. Simple but very fun and cute.

Again, sound was very good. Makes me want to check out Chiptone as it's listed in the software used.

Thanks! Chiptone's pretty great, it's like bfxr or sfxr with a more accessible UI, and you can get it as a desktop app and all. Thank you for all the feedback as well, it's great to hear you liked it!

This game is so satisfying! It feels great to play. Loved the color palette you chose for this game!

This is just perfect, feels too good.

But if you haven't eaten cookies can't be that good...

Developer

Haha, even though there's a little 0 next to it that symbol's (ℵ₀) actually an aleph-null, which represents a value of infinity; I actually ate infinite cookies! (although, if I ate an infinity of them did I eat any at all in the physical world? Hm.) It's good to hear you liked the game though, thanks!

One of my favourite high score based games so far! I like how it's also possible to learn the different explosion patterns in order to chain (cascade) kills. Managed to get 30 enemies on my last run!

Developer

Impressive! There are actually ranks all the way up to 50 enemies, though even I didn't get there whilst playing so I'm not sure if that's physically possible to achieve. I'm glad you liked it though, thanks for the comment!
