Cute little entry!

A pretty tough platformer challenge that was quite fun!

A few criticisms tho:

- I found most of the game could be done without the tongue and the tongue kind felt inconsistent. I think it would have felt better in general if you shot it out rather than had to click the tile correctly(if thats how it works?)

- the bouncing made tapping jump kinda hard and made jumping just feel kinda off imo. I think a fix would be to include some sort of jump buffer, if you are close enough to the ground, que up a jump so that you do a high jump the second you touch it. I think that would have added alot to the feel.

But the art was cute and levels were hard but fun.
Really excellent work!

The art was pretty, but the game design was a bit rough in act 1. When I started act two however, I finally got to see what you guys were going for and I managed to enjoy the game quite a lot. Good job!

There is so much potential for very satisfying player controls here!

I would recommend tinkering with the grappling mechanic more! Most importantly making it reach farther, but you could also try allowing multiple grapples before touching the ground again. I noticed when grappling the floor in front of the player you can build up massive momentum, that could be used for some cool level designs!

Also I wish the jump inputs would be more forgiving, it happened quite often that I pressed a little bit too late so the frog made just the small hop instead of big jump.

Btw I assume this is not intentional but you can slowly climb walls be repeatedly walljumping, you move like 1/10 th of a pixel upwards every time.

Fun game overall, art and music is great, controls pretty well however the jump mechanic feels slightly delayed and takes a while to get used to.

Amazing artwork & Mechanics! I also love to see a future with this game as it is very enjoyable! Hope you continue it! (Assuming by the construction sign, you're planning on it!)

The music and art is great. The controls were a bit tough at first, but I got used to them pretty quickly. This is a very fun and challenging platformer.

Very good and beautiful, the mechanics are a little difficult to learn at first but then the game is very fun. Congratulations on the work!! 😋

Super finicky but it had a decent rhythm after a bit.

Wow, thank you!

I didn't realize I had a tongue grapple move until course 2, but I had a lot of fun experimenting with walling jumping and grappling around to beat the stages in different ways!

Fantastic game - took me a minute to get the hang of the mechanics, but once I'd got to grips with the jumping and figured out the wall jump it was a whole lot of fun racing through the levels and using the grapple for a speed boost to try and get a good time.

The music is great, and I love that you have an alternate track for when you're getting near to a timeout.

Thank you so much!

I had a lot of fun playing this. It did take me a bit longer than I'd like to admit to realize you can bounce on walls, but once I did I had a blast, especially when I was able to skip some platforms with good wall bounces and grapples.

If you do continue with it I would really like to play this without the time limit, the challenge was good enough that it's satisfying just to get through it by itself and would love to have the time to mess around more and see what's possible,

Lovely art, lovely music, well implemented and fun to play!

Movement mechanic was pretty hard to figure out, but I managed it in the end.  Stand by for Titanfall Frogs!

loved it... the tongue grapple doesnt work sometimes, but overall a great game (sugestion: maybe if you click the inside of the terrain you grapple the closest edge of the terrain chunk)

the jump mechanic is very cool (: the challenges were difficult yet pretty fair. very fun! i would love it if you could rate my game!

Very cool. Very difficult. The tongue is a bit wonky, but maybe I just need to try harder.

Looks amazing, sounds great. Wish I had art like yours for my platformer :P Good job!

Speed and crazy pirouettes, cool. The levels are quite difficult and the frog is a little unpredictable, but it provides a good challenge.

Awesome concept and beautiful art and sound design. I enjoyed the gameplay but I always seem to tap space a bit too late and I miss a lot of jumps because of that. Perhaps a bit of coyote time would help? Overall, great job!
