They are so cute! Super fun and polished game. Great work!
Thank you so much! I am really glad you liked it π
I loved your game too!
divertido.
Beautiful art, love the simplicity and the cute message behind it. :D
Thank you! It's the first time I make art for a game, I usually work with artists, so I am very flattered you liked it β¨
Wow. Had to give you 5/5 in all categories for this one, what a fun little game, short and sweet. Art style on point. Keep making games, please!
Wow thank you so much, that's such a heartwarming comment π
All in all really enjoyable! Good job!
Thanks a lot, I am glad you liked it π
Very cool!! XD You being the boss instead of the protagonist is a really cool twist, I had a lot of fun.
Thanks a lot, I am glad you liked it π
Love the art! Super cute, stands out because of that

Yeeaah! Very cute, I love that frog's kickflips. WASD support would've been nice
Thanks a lot, I am glad you like those kickflips as much as I do π
WASD, controller and touch screen support were on the backlog and sleep scheduled prevailed over them, sorry! I might make a post jam version with fixes and QOL updates after the rating period!
Also I loved your game, great job β¨
Its really nice ! Insane graphics and gameplay is well found !!
Thanks a lot, I am glad you liked it π
Enjoyed the game! This is the first one, that i've played so far, that I haven't really thought of anything to critique. For a 3 day jam, this is really well made! lvl99 took a couple of attempts to beat, but it was nice to see how happy he was. froggy the hero is cute.
Thanks a lot! I am glad you were happy to see Froggy won, I think they might deserve it for all the grinding they did between fights π₯πΈβοΈ
The level 99 froggy got me good a few times before I managed to beat him lol. I feel like each time he changes his direction and dodgeds by doing a kickflip is a little too random at times. Apart from that though, great mechanics in play and awesome presentation.
Also, one small bug occured where the music stopped playing after a while. Amazing game none the less
Thanks a lot for the detailed comment , I am glad you liked itπ
You are right about the U turns and kickflips being a bit too random, or with not enough anticipation. I wanted to keep it frantic and to give the feeling this was a hero controlled by a player, but I think cuting absolutely all anticipation and going too random might not be the perfect choice.
About music not looping, yes my bad haha. I woke up in the morning next to the jam with the thought "Oh nooo I forgot to make the music loop agaaaain". I do this every jam haha. I will update the game with a few fixes after the rating period ends!
Hey, I was watching your dev stream, I see you have watched about Reversary :D Love the final result, great polish!
Lvl1 -> lvl50 that frog hero grinded a LOT between fights :D
Just to add that little but of βcan always be betterβ, the player frog could use a sliiiiight more jump angle especially since it is its own ability ;)
LOVED it <3
Thanks a lot for the detailed comment, and also for coming to my stream π
You are right, having such a limitation limitation in jump angle feels a bit frustrating at times. I tried to widen it, but then it was to easy to hit Froggy when they were next to us and I prefered to make the player flee and come back from the other side. I guess I'll have to find another workaround to make it better anyway!
I love everything about this submission. The artwork - the way the little guy does a kickflip - the simplicity of the controls and the objective itself. Really good use of the limitation too. One of my favourites so far!
Thanks a lot! Once I put Froggy on a skateboard, I felt like I couldn't end the jam without them doing a kickflip animation, and I'm glad I took the time to do it πΉπΈ
Everything is so nice in your game. Nice work!
Thanks a lot β¨
It was really cool how the fairly simple changes to the different phases of the fight were brought to life with the theming. I especially liked how the shields had their own health icon. It would've been something so easy to leave out, but it's a sweet detail that makes it feel like I'm really fighting a little frog rpg character : - )
Thanks a lot! I'm really happy when some people notice the little details π
Really fun and cute :) The visuals of course take the cake, and the concept is really solid! The froggy hero stood no chance I'm afraid as I bonked him over and over and over again. Very creative use of the theme ! Overall wonderful submission!

Your game looked really nice too!
The artwork is incredible! It's very well balanced as well.

YES
I saw this on Twitter yesterday and it's the one I've been looking forward to the most and I have to say that it did not disappoint. Implementation was great, and I loved getting my ass kicked by that lil hero. It's so playful, happy, and fun, and I also love the humor in it.
"But heroes always come back"
"HE CAME BACK!"

Yay thanks a lot for the comment I am glad you liked the humor π
It's just incredible! graphics, sounds, concept, use of the limination! And of course FROGGY!
Thanks a lot I am glad you enjoyed it π
