I beat it! This is such a cool game. It looks and feels super fluid, and the effects are hella juicy. I found the father's shield the best coin in the entire game, because by stacking it you can handle lots of smaller hits and focus only on the big ones. My build consisted on lots of gamblers coins, attack damage and mainly father's shield. I would always focus all coins on the strongest enemy sides, and tank the remaining hits. Sometimes I would deal almost no damage, because you know, gambler coins, but when I did, oh boy.
During the second to last boss, I think? (the wolf with the minions) I didn't even need to fight the minions, because I could tank their damage while I worked on the boss. It's cool that I could come up with these kinds of tactics! (I'm very into games like slay the spire, etc)
Awesome game overall, great job!
Amazing presentation. Great mechanic as well, though it's also the source of my only complaint. It kinda relies a little too much on luck tbh. As a result, it made it kinda hard to strategise at times as well.
I managed to get to the stage that had the wolf and two cats. Of course the wolf looks like death from that Puss in boots movie lol. None the less, amazing game all around.
Hi Prinni! I see you a lot on Discord :D The animations for the game are super immersive, I'm a big fan of turn-based combat! Good job! (RNG was not on my side and I died at floor 5 sadge)
Best game this jam, no doubt about it. Looks great, good use of Limitation, fun Gameplay. All in all great.
Woow, I was looking forward to playing your game the most, and you went above and beyond my expectaions!!! This is a game I would genuinely love playing in my free time. I would love for this to be a full-fledged, polished game (not that it isn't already great). Really great job, I love it :D
Nice one primy. Your best effort yet I believe. Check out my live review at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission
Awesome game and concept. I actually stuck with this one for a while, i do think there should be a less teidous way to confirm actions, it got a bit tiresome after a bit.
Really great concept, nice background music, sfx are way too loud. Cute art, love the fact you can flip the coin at 50% to try to get the higher number. The death sound is even higher than all the other sfx, maybe lower that even more.
UI/UX is a mess, i.e. it is quite hard to figure out what to do in the beginning and later the extra steps slow down the game.
Edits to that should make it way more enjoyable.
The visuals are nice.
Great art. One of the best game i played in this jam. Unfurtunately after a few runs, i had to stop at floor 6 i think (the one with the "pet") but i enjoyed every bit of the experience :)
Awesome work!
Good game. It is more complex than you would think. The art and music are nice. The game feels pretty polished.
This game is rad, the presentation is solid. and I enjoy the gameplay, though I did start to find it tedious to have to click to confirm the turn actions, whilst they are actively being played out.
