The only colors used were the palette provided, and its values inverted.

Here goes the cringey millenial dying to the cactus gun folks, lol. Haha I liked the exploration aspect of the game, and the creativity on using the inverted colors of the palette. The goofiness of the character and enemies is endearing. It took me some time to realize the keys would appear after killing all enemies in the caves.
I've been thinking on migrating to Godot but I'm not sure if I have the guts since I've been using Unity for quite some time.
Good job!
I used this jam as a chance to really dive in to Godot, as I was also a long time unity user. I find its better in some ways and worse in some other ways, so if you wanna try it out, go for it, but its hardly the wondertool some people think it is.
As for the feedback - I wanted to make it more obvious that keys spawned after clearing out the dungeons by having some sounds or something, but i couldnt figure out how to implement that in the time left unfortunately.
Thanks for playing though :)
Really liked the attack the most, destroying those bullets and everything else felt satisfying! Jank aside, I'm don't know where to find the keys since everything is grey, differentiating places you can and can't explore by adding different colors or something else would help a lot.
Played the game, liked the art style, would like to hear some music. Didn't understand how to get keys to unlock the big door. Had to read some of the comments to understand how to pass the game. I had originally thought that you get the keys from exploring the dungeons. There is a small bug, in the 2nd blue room, there's a small patch(?) on the ground, when you sit on it you can't walk forward. But you're able to walk around it but just not through it. Wish there was some more indicator or consequence of the cactus.
I like the art style you used, but I would add some sounds, overall great game!
Cute little entry, its quite short but I think for the first few weeks of using your engine quite nice little romp!
Cool game, I especially like the cat's sprite and the game over screen, and that bowl looks giganormous. I reached the end of the game but had to refresh the page each time I had a game over. Is there any way to restart a game after a game over? If there is it should be clear to the player
Yay, cat food! By the way, it's a great game for having only 3 weeks of experience with godot, you should be proud of you. Just a few things: I think the enemies are not dangerous. Let me explain, they surely do hurt, but if I can just swing my sword towards them blocking all the bullets and killing them without consequences, they aren't a problem. Maybe add a stamina bar, or just a cooldown between every swing, would fix it. Overall, great game!
Nice little dungeon crawler :)
I like the mechanics of the canon balls following you.
And for only 3 weeks of Godot I think this work is pretty good!
Keep up the good work!
-1000 social credits :( I played again though and managed to get the big reward at the end. Fun game. Very good I would say considering that you have been using Godot for less than 3 weeks. Good job.
movement was very good. I liked the game style a lot. Great idea and submission!
