Cool strategy concept, hard to keep up with after a while as it gets real frantic.
High score: 285
Nice submission!!The Concept, the Visuals and the effects are amazing!!
Thanks for feedback. It motivates me to keep going :)
My highscore was 105. Wow this game gets frantic! But the idea is awesome and the whole experience is intense and addictive. I like the background music and the color palette, and the tutorial was a really nice addition to the game. I wish there were more upgrades earlier, since I felt kinda powerless at times, but it was a super fun experience nonetheless. Great job!
Thanks for kind words :) Yee I thought about more upgrades, but I must cut it :c In the next iteration I will probably add more upgrades/ power ups /events. Now I must sit and made brainstorm, because I have many ideas. I am glad that you had a good time with game :)
I love this game! But difficulty hard.
Thanks for feedback. In the next iteration I will make it less hard :)
Cool concept (even though i didn't fully get it) And good game overall.
Thanks for feedback. I think I lost some important info in the tutorial (for example, about promotions). Sorry for that.
Really cool concept.
It took me some time to master the mechanics.
Also the color palette seems really fitting for the game.
Thanks for your feedback :) The facts that you had to spend some to time to master the mechanics is more positive or negative part of the game?
Don't get me wrong, it's definately not a bad aspect. It's just that I'm not used to playing games of this type. The more I enjoy learning new mechanics. The overall experience was very positive for me.
This game is so addictive! It's just hard enough to make you want to keep playing and not so hard that it's impossible. I really enjoyed playing it. Music was also perfect to create a tense environment. Very impressive entry for such a short period. Good job!
Thanks for your feedback. My fiancé helped me with testing and balancing the game. One time I made the difficulty maybe to bit hard and gives her to play. After maybe 10/15 seconds she lost xd and say "I don't want to play this game again!" So I make game more easier :D By the way my fiancé's name is Julia. Your comments motivate me to keep going with this game. Thank you :)
Haha well you're lucky to have such a good playtester! I look forward to trying a bigger version of this game!
Impressive entry! I can tell that you're a fellow fan of Mini Metro like myself. One suggestion I have to potentially enhance the game is to cater to the preferences of the genre's audience. Typically, those who play these types of games are looking for a gradual increase in difficulty and a meditative experience throughout the gameplay. In this instance, I found myself feeling a bit anxious a bit too early on. Nevertheless, your entry was incredibly bold and daring, and you did an excellent job. Kudos to you!
Wow you made my day :D Thanks for very kind comment. Unfortunately I only heard about Mini Metro but I didn't play. Now I need to get over it :) Also Thanks you for feedback about time about increasing difficult. In the next iteration I will try change the pace of the game also adding more stuff. There is one more reason for which your comments make me happy. It is my first game jam and also my first game which I added to itchio as public :3 My first game was added to itchio but only for close group of friends. I didn't have the courage to send her out into the world...
interesting concept not sure how to stop the plague after a while since I had some many cites to take care of couldn't keep up with it. Not sure how to hire more staff to make multiple stuff at the same time missed something
Thanks for comment :) I think I didn't explain well the mechanic of promotion. When corporation assessment is happy of your work, they give you promotion and there you can choose more car/scientist or new factory. Sorry for that :c For this version you can't stop plague, I thought about something like end of game by end of plague, but it could take too much time on jam.
ah makes sense . the plague just evolves to fast and never leaves eh I guess that means more work for me the gamer lol.
Awesome work! It ties into the theme really well and the visuals are great! I was missing a little feedback as a couple of others mentioned but it's solid otherwise
Thanks for feedback :) It was my first game when I made graphics :D I think I know the place where I have bug with click.
I loved the game, the only thing I feel is missing is a bit more feedback for when a button is or is not pressed. I got Mini Metro and Plague Inc. vibes from this!
I am happy to read it :) I had some problems with button feedback and I know where I must fix it. Thanks for that information :) Interesting comparison to Mini metro I heard about this game, but I have never played. Now I must make up for it :D
Had fun with this, though a ltitle repetitive feeling after a bit of gameplay.
A plague, oh dear, too soon xD.
Thanks for feedback. I think I would like to add more content for next iteration :) I'm sure we won't live until 2143. Don't worry :3
The game has a good potential, the idea follows the theme perfectly, there is a plague inc vibe that is enjoyable. I encountered some bugs, sometimes my clicks were not responding and acting like I wanted :(
Thank you for this information about potential :) It motivates me to keep going. Yee When I think about it, I probably know where you could have a bug like this. Sorry for that :c
Very fun game and the tutorial really helped.
One way you could improve it is by adding some variation to the gameplay throughout the game as it can get a little bit repetitive after a few minutes
Apart from that great job and keep up the Good Work!
Thanks for playing and feedback :) Tutorial took me all night, but I learned something new. Maybe I should add some events (City quarantines, Soldiers help)? Upgrades (Like better medicines, cars, scientists and laboratory) ? Passive bonus from city? What do you think? :)
I think some sort of events would be nice. It would break the routine.
I understand that you had little time to finish the game. However, it would be great if the trucks moved along roads and not in a straight line between cities. I would also add more interface sounds. It would be nice if there was some sort of sound for the completion of a cure and the outbreak of an epidemic in a city. I really like the idea of an assistant Julia. This game made my dreams come true, and for the first time in my life I had my own assistant. Unfortunately, she was not happy with me because I play poorly
Thanks for feedback. Yee I thought about path finding, but it would be too risky for all game. I must cut few things for my aspirations :D Good points about more sounds effect I did not think about it. I am really happy that I could make your dream come true <3
Interesting gameplay!
I am glad you like my game :) Thanks for feedback
the game has a very nice look and cool music, too. As a respond to your comment on my entry: i don´t really see the implementation of the limitation in this as well . but still this is a pretty high quality entry :)
Cool idea. The tutorial was perfect.Good job!!
Thanks for feedback :) I am glad you like tutorial. It took me all night :D
fun game and very unique! Tutorial was nicely done. Some of the words are cut off on the top for me.
Thanks for comment :) Yee tutorial took me all night to do, but I learned more (It was my first interactive tutorial in game) :D Maybe you remember in which moment word are cut?
I love the original concept!
Thanks for feedback :) I'm very glad you like the concept.
