cool game!

Such a polished game. The sound effects were so satisfying. It was short but fun. Great work!!

The fusion transition is very satisfying, interesting take on the theme to convert this into a tetris type game, definitely a contender for the winner of this jam

This game is great!! I love falling block puzzles, I think its great it penalizes you for destroying single blocks, I love it!

And idea I had for expanding the game was perhaps make them act like puyos once you destroy a block (from the game puyo puyo) to cause a chain reaction of falling blocks, connected blocks from the fall could vanish as well causing a combo and a higher scoring! A lot of potential for an idea like this

This game is so incredible cool. It looks beautiful, the SFX are great and the ruling is brilliant. I just love it, don't know what else to say. System works super stable. Awesome job man.

The game looks nice, I like this kind of pixel art, but I didn’t really understand the essence of the game, so I poked everything in a row, I hope I played correctly)

You accidentally type 3 same messages so I deleted  2. The game's goal is to just poke the most big one color shapes that you can find out during the play loop

oh sorry, the site told me that the message was not sent, so I clicked send several times

Game looks and sound very well! Amazing art style, well done.

Really fun game built on a rock solid, simple premise! The presentation is near perfect, and I think the only thing that I would change would maybe be the difficulty curve (as others have mentioned). Awesome work all around!!

Developer(+1)

Absolutely agree, difficulty curve is bad in comparison with everything else. I'll made some changes after the jam and more! I hope i can add some aftergame rewards like different color palettes, themes and skill and that kind of stuff as well as remaking difficulty curve (and eventually made some code changes, 'cause damn my code is bad even for the first game)

Submitted

All those things sound like great ideas! And also I wrote upwards of like 2000 lines of code for a 4 minute gameplay demo, I don't think your code could be half as bad as mine, haha.

This game was pretty fun! The visuals look great. Being able to destroy singular blocks made it quite easy though as i could just set up massive combos. This is the furthest i've managed to push it lol

Developer

God you really patient. I hope that was something to break tile that big.

About single blocks. Yeah, for your knowlegde, there was even NO time restriction before for destroying single blocks. The friend of mine just text me like 6 hours before deadline and 30 minutes before my bedtime "Hey! The game's pretty easy, make at least some penalty for destroying single blocks!".

So, yeah, there's definitely some problem with time balancing. I'll update the game after the jam if you interested

Fun and simple, which is great. A much smaller thing to appreciate is how the background of the game when playing in the browser matches with the background on your Itch page, it's a small detail but it looks very nice.

Everything felt super responsive and polished too, great job!

Really liked this one , presentation was damm cool

Submitted(+1)

very polished game! With a little bit more work this could totally be on the App Store or something. Nice job!

Submitted(+1)

I really like how polished it looks, and destroying blocks and using skills is super juicy. Addictive gameplay and chill experience.

Super impressive for a first jam! Keep at it, great job!

pretty cool, the font at the start is hard to read tho

Developer

Yeah I wasn't quite sure how the game will work on a different monitors and different resolutions. Sorry for problem you'd encountered with.

However, I'll try make some updates after the jam so the game will look much crispier on everyones browser!
