I like the concept a lot! I think it's wayyy too hard, butits a nice high score game, its also not entirely obvious what elements you need to use for each enemy. Other than that I think its a nice game that could be elaborated more upon if made more forgiving

We made a podium that you put an element on, and that element changes the enviorment for both the player and the enemies. (For some reason it does not work in html build, but works in download builds). Similar to Little Alcemy

Awesome concept and interpretation of the limitation! Of course the game need some adjustments but that goes for every jam game tho XD
You implemented what I thought at the beginning of the jam and it's cool to play, of course the implementation is limp, but it's fun to play and this is the main thing
The basic concept is cool but it is a game killer that I neither see mine nor the enemies hp bar. Even seeing if I actually hit an enemy would a great plus.
It looks and sounds really nice and the movement feels smooth.
Okay I've managed to survive 80 seconds! The game concept's interesting and gameplay lopp is as simple as fun. However, there's some problems that I must describe:
1. One enemy in your tutorial actually described 2 times (IDK if there's 6th enemy type, if there is you really should change that page);
2. That's not quite smart when you trying to kill enemies with the same elements as they have (like the dude with water and electro element, and you should kill it with water and electro elements), so even when I've read the tutorial I was still trying to kill enemies with the opposite elements;
Anyway, the game's good. Nice work.
I loved the concept! Although, it was a bit hard to memorize how to kill all the enemies, so the first few games were quite confusing, and iI was just trying different combinations. Overall, a pretty good game. I also like the background music!
Very good stuff. Epic art style =D. The concept is neat and the game is fun. There are a couple of things that I think would make it even more fun and easier to get into:
- Feedback on hitting enemies: Most players don't read the (How to Play) or the enemies' catalog especially in game jams and don't realize why enemies won't die/get hit. There should be feedback so the player knows that "The enemy has been hit, but it won't die because you are using the wrong mix of elements" like some kind of visual cue or something.
- Keyboard shortcuts: With the small battle area, dragging elements with the mouse to fuse them before the enemy gets you is quite a challenge when more than one enemy is approaching from different directions. I think using keyboard keys to quickly select elements/soup and apply it immediately to the weapon would be very helpful. Or even make the keys select the element and then the player can click either on the weapon or the podium.
There is probably more stuff that could improve the game but those are what came to mind and thought I would share them for what it's worth.
Cool game and concept overall. Well done. and good job to the team leader for managing 8 people on this project!
The animations & graphics in general were kinda rough (I couldn't really tell what most of the creatures were supposed to be...) but it was still quite fun. I liked the feel of the combat, it's definitely enough to make it fun.
I enyojed the concept of the game, and the idea of the pedestal is quite clever, but I feel like the difficulty curve is a bit too steep. I miss some simpler one element enemies to start the game on, cause it's quite difficult to swap from combination from combination when enemies start swarming the screen.
It's overall, a very interesting concept that has been worked in a very interesting direction.
I played both the web build and the download build. The game was full of bugs and every time i tried to kill an enemy i took damage. Good use of limitation though. I think that the game should explain what to do, because i didn't understand what each element made. The game has a nice concept tho.
Warning! In the web build of the game, the limitation does not work! Of you are going to rate the limitation, please download the game. If you do not want to donload it, then please rate the limitation a 3/5. (or if your nice a 4/5). The limitation had to do with putting the elements on the podium, which broke when exported to webgl.
