Fun little idea for a multiplayer shooter, though I ran into a bug where some of the tan soldiers stopped taking damage, still it was a lot of fun to scoot around on recoil action.

Amazing presentation and very interesting idea!

I loved this game. The tutorial was really well done. I'd be interested to see how the level progression would come together on multiplayer, but as a proof of concept 100% excited to see how it develops in the future

The presentation really stands out and also how good the art is.

The design is awesome! The pixel art is done professionally, having all the same pixel scaling on every object, making it very consistent. The design overall is really consistent from the sound design and to the art design they all give an 8-bit feel.

Concept is also incredible. It showed a unique take on the limitation of the gamejam, although not using the theme which I understand is optional.

For my only feedback, the lack of gameplay. The only gameplay is the practice level and the tutorial level which really limited the concept to being played and enjoyed, maybe a few levels with some enemies that shoot back instead of a practice level could have made it better. Although I know this is a 3 day gamejam, I just think that time on the practice level and unnecessary stuff should have been put to making more gameplay.

Overall, congrats on making a game! The game looks polished and appealing to the eyes, it really attracted me once I saw it on the submissions page. Well done!

This is a great game, you did a good game which can fill the task of the game jam.Congratulations!

I'm absolutely floored at how well this feels to control, this is a phenomenal prototype if you're aiming to update this into a full fledged multiplayer game! I would undoubtedly buy this if it was a complete multiplayer experience with multiple maps and weapon variety because this was very impressive

I did however come across a bug twice where after aiming a held shot at an enemy they just don't take damage anymore. Happened with the soldier in the bottom left of the practice stage and the target in the 2nd part of the tutorial

I'm flattered, thank you for the bug report too! Feedback like this motivates me to really make a post jam update :)

A1 Presentation! The concept is unique and something different. Having limits on the ammo / reloading does impact the enjoyment but I could see if you were interacting with others its fitting. I envision faster reloads and power ups to increase different aspects of play. Overall solid basis for a fully fledged game.

Appreciate it! Thanks for your ideas & kind words :)

The game looks amazing, and the idea is great. But I found that the reload time is too long for me. Also, the soldier people didn't fight back, unless that was intentional since it is practice mode. However, the game was still amazing, and I bet it will be even greater when multiplayer is implemented.

:D

Developer

Thank you! Yes, unfortunately, I was aiming at multiplayer, and that’s why the enemies won’t fight back :) but I still wanted to release as a prototype where people can test out the mechanics - hope I get the multiplayer working!

Bravo! The art, music, concept, and optimization is top-notch! The game runs smoothly and everything looks very professional. My only comment is that the cooldown/reload time is a little low, at least for a single player game. Also, if you spam click in order to shoot a bullet as soon as you reload, you never reload (probably has to do with the way the game is coded but just wanted to let you know). This game is my favorite so far!

Developer

I appreciate this very much! You found a good bug :D when you shoot, the reload timer resets, but it could be that it only resets if ammo is > 0. Thanks for feedback and kind words :)
