Everything was so nice! The transistions, way the character walks, effects when time traveling, etc. They were all really put together and it was really enjoyable!

Developer

Thank you so much!!

Wow, I am impressed that this game and all its assets could be made in time for the mini jam. The graphics are superb. Not just the sprites, I like every part of the design: the smooth transitions, the well-though trick of the single sprite sine-animated, the way music and sound effects interweave with the rest of components. Even the dialog box. The idea and the dialogs were also really convincing.

[ I would not criticize the duration---given the time restriction, it seems even long to me! But, as a constructive critic, I would add a final line to the seller, to avoid a repeated sell.]

Developer

Thank you so much!! I actually wrote a line for the seller and completely forgot to implement it... By the time I realized it was too late, haha. Thank you for playing!

It was very funny to see Brutus moving at the rhythm of the music. I imagine it was't easy to join the programming pieces.

Good work!

Developer

The matching of the music and animation is actually unintentional! But I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

There were also lots of cool effects in the game. Time machines rock!

The visual effect of Brutus, I understood It was an accident... But a funny one :D

The graphics were really cool!  Its clear you put a lot of detail into this game looking at small features and it helps to create a fun experience

Developer

Thank you!!

Overall very well put together and nicely wrapped up for a mini game jam. Love the time travelling visuals as well!

Developer

Thank you! I actually wrote those because I was tired of just working on the base game and I ended up including it haha

Loved the game, great work

Developer

Thank you!

Great game! Haha, I loved the wobbly movement. Great music & art. Nice work!

Developer

Thank you!! The wobbly animations was actually a really good call since it's all done with rotating the player with a sine wave, which meant every sprite only needed one frame. Thank you for playing!

Good comedic/sci-fi game to enjoy during this horrible pandemic time. One downside: story's a lil short

Developer

Thank you! I was actually typing up the last few lines of dialogue around 20 minutes before submissions were due... It was a little rushed to say the least!

Submitted(+1)

I quite liked it - all the animations seemed quite cute and the texts and conversations gave a good story. Good job! :)

Developer

Thank you!!

Sick animations!

This was a fun game - I think adding date lines to like the top right like they have in movies might make the text go by quicker- it can flash up there instead of having to go through dialog. Would love if it was longer.

The graphic effects are also really nice.

Developer

That'd have been a good idea, I'll keep it in mind for future projects! I wish I could have made it longer, as I actually had quite a bit more planned, but I was strapped for time. Thank you for playing!

The transition you made when entering caesar's house is cool. Does the player move to another room? or did you manipulate the layers to do this trick?

Developer

It was a really inefficient way of doing things... There's a really big mask overlaying where he should be able to collide and when he does it swaps the alpha of a few of the backgrounds
