This game actually creeped me out and the stop motion is a cool idea. Well done.

Cool game. I like the visuals, and needing enemies to get closer to you to get more currency isn't an idea ive seen before in a tower defense game, so thats pretty interesting. I wish there was a speed up button though, some of the earlier waves can drag a bit.

A bit too simple if you ask me, the monsters could have had some more variety/behaviors to them rather than just standing still.

Cool and unique idea. Never seen a rhythm horror before, though there didn't seem to be any music when i played. Guessing thats a bug?

The artstyle, lighting and visuals in general are pretty great, and are definitely the highlight of the game for me, being both cutesy while not eliminating the horror. I also think that the atmosphere is generally pretty good, being spooky without being overbearing.

However, i feel like the gameplay could use some touchups. You move very slowly and there isn't much to do except just wander the map randomly and hope you find what the ingredients. It also felt like the pumpkin guy just attacked you randomly without much warning, which led to there not being much counterplay meaning it was just a matter of luck if i was near a haystack or not. If there is a pattern to his attacks i think you should make it easier for the player to pick up on that pattern. I also had some issues with foreground objects blocking my sight, making it hard to see my character.

Overall, a pretty enjoyable experience though.

Not sure if this was a bug or not but after getting the hair piece and walking to the right, the entire screen just went black with not much happening until my light ran out and i died.

Generally a pretty basic but interesting idea for a game. It's basically just spot the difference but with a walking mechanic. I think it gets kind of tedious towards the end though when youre looking for that last piece youre missing and i didn't really feel the horror. Cool idea though.

Great art and sound design in general. Didn't get that much of a horror vibe from it but thats alright, the game excels in many other ways. I found the slow attack animation , delayed jump and floaty movement strange at first, but over time i grew to appreciate it and i found it to be an interesting change from how platformers usually feel. I wish the level design was a bit more interesting (It's very linear without needing to think a whole lot, i found myself just kind of walking through rooms with zero thought) and i generally wish the game was more challenging. But other than that, pretty cool game!

Really good game! The visuals are amazing as everyone else has already said, i really love the cartoon artstyle on display here, and the lighting was well implemented. The name is clever too.

The gameplay is great as well. The jump feels solid and fluid, and the head swap mechanic is cool as well (Though i think it would have been simpler to have both heads on one button). I especially liked the jump at the end where you had to use both heads to progress. The only thing i found lackluster was that the monster is a bit slow and provides very little threat if you just keep going forward at a reasonable pace.

The ghost mechanic reminds me of the clone levels in Mario Galaxy. It's a good concept for sure, though hardly a unique one. I think that the game would benefit from having some background music, as it felt a bit too quiet.

The physics feel a bit akward for a platformer IMO; your air control is way too tight, making the jump feel like a street fighter jump. This makes trying to juke your ghost more difficult and frustrating while reducing the players options greatly.

Binding the wall jump to left and right is a tad unintuitive, since most platformers use the jump button instead. You would also have saved me some time if you had made it clear in the description that a double jump was available :).

I liked the visuals though. The simple background and abstract landscape was nice to look at.

Overall, a good concept but the gameplay needs some improvement.

I like the unique movement and the diep.io esque gameplay & progression, but i think the movement is a tad too slow when you're small and somewhat hard to control when you're big. I really like the unique artstyle as well, a break from all the pixel art (Nothing against that ofc! I use it myself as well.) is nice to see. I also think the game could use a goal of some kind. But overall, a pretty decent experience.

Good game. I liked that you both had two different aerial moves (jump and fly) and two different modes (glasses on and glasses off), allowing for a lot of gameplay variety. Visuals and SFX were also competently done.

I do wish that the ghost would appear a small distance behind you after you die instead of remaining in the same position, as i sometimes died repeatedly until i could take off the glasses and run away to kite it. The instant respawn time does makes this a relatively minor issue though.

Very cool game! Creating your own platforms in a platformer is always interesting, and i think you put a unique spin on it by having those platforms be defeated enemies that continously spawn behind you, which i really liked. Only criticisms are that i wish it had some sound effects outside of the music and that snails would sometimes spawn right on top of me, killing me instantly with little counterplay.

Pretty basic game but i think the movement feels alright and the visuals work well enough, making it decently enjoyable. The glasses feel a bit tacked on as a mechanic (doesn't really feel like the full depth of this mechanic was explored). I think this game is alright but i would have liked to see some more unique/experimental mechanics to really set it apart from the other platformers on this website

Yeah i pretty much agree with this criticism. This was my first game jam so i wasn't really used to the time constraint and the project ended up being somewhat half baked. Glad you liked the concept though!

Amazing story and great, unique artstyle. Loved it.

Was this inspired by the game Darkwood? It seems very similar (in a good way).
