Honestly, a very fun platformer! Thank you for putting those checkpoints, because without them this one would have taken me hours to move an inch lol. Also, the sound ramping up when you go faster was really cool! Made it a lot more intense
I glad you liked it.
Fun game, really like the Music, the speed and controls felt good. Once I got to the ice level though thats where things quickly became to hard for me to handle. Like another comment said the grinding was a but much. But that sound effect building speed was great. Guess I may just be really bad at platformers.
Thanks. by the way think of the game more like a puzzle one where you have to find the pattern you need to follow more than a platformer with fast reactions
The audio is good (except when you smack the side of an island, when there's a grinding noise due to the repeated hits being registered) and the movement feels really nice. This game really shines in the parts where you have a long stretch of building momentum, so it's a bit of a shame when you have to slow down to get more precision - but I still felt compelled to finish it even when it was tough, which says a lot!
Glad you liked it.
The controller was really fun, I had a great time moving around in the space. The most fun sections were definitely at the beginning when you're doing high speed platforming vs the end where you're doing a lot of slower precision platforming. Also really liked the audio volume/speed ramping up with the character. Great feeling demo, well done!
Thanks. it's nice to hear that.
Great game, definitely deserves more reviews! (The no browser version curse is real ;-;) Still got a few pieces of critique to give though. This game is built for you to go fast - the sound design and movement is amazingly built for it, and feels very satisfying. Then, it forces you to go slow - the bit where you climb up the purple-ish blocks, the ice platforming, the massive lava ball. That just feels very bad, especially after the first segments taught me how great it felt to go quickly. Also, turning could've been used a little - banked turns feel great in this genre, and hiding the massive lava ball around a corner wouldve made the level feel a lot more cool to see as you progress. Overall, still a very good game!
Yeah I agree I already regret it just after testing it but I had no better idea and the time was ticking so I kept it.
yo why doesn't this game have a lot more reviews??? by far this one was the best one for me. i'm sharing this one on discord!
Thanks that made my day.
I knew it won't have much reviews because it doesn't have a browser version.
finished it. Was great fun
Finally some one beat the game 🫡
Awesome game, you nailed the audio especially well
Had fun! Although didn't finish :D
I am glad you liked it. And don't worry I think I am the only person who finished it.
Gave up before I got to anything interesting. The jump just felt a little too strong, and made those floating tilted platforms too hard for me. I otherwise love the controls, and graphics. Maybe with some tweaks and balancing this game could be even better! Overall great work :). As for originality a half decent actually bike platformer
I don't know if you know that but you can stop the jump by stopping pushing forward button
Oh, I thought I didn’t have control of it in the air
Got a bit further, but I still think the jump is too much
Sorry to here that.
Could just be that I am not great at controlling it
Really nice experience and the bike controls really well. I love all the speed/sound effects as you speed up and slow down. Platforming was solid too I just don't have the patience to try and make it to the end :)
I am glad you liked it.
Loved it! Gta like jumping puzzle racing with a well controllable bike. Appreciated the subtle environment sounds, world was very atmospheric~
Only comment is the lack of escape menu/closing the game was unclear.
Glad you liked it.
I forgot to add pause screen and a timer till it was very late.
