Congrats on your first jam game! I like the way it progresses and the themes you incorporated. Was the camera height intentional? It certainly made jumps difficult and frustrating but I can see how it would tie into your game's message. Good work and keep jammin.
Nice game. The player controller felt good and responsive. And I LOVE that you included gamepad support. I wish it was more common in game jams and always instantly endears a game to me when it is included. the platforming felt good and level design was nice too. My only complaints would be that your camera could use a little adjusting. I think if you zoomed out a little bit and brought the focus on the player a little north on the y axis your playability would be greatly improved. There were often times when I wasn't able to see what platforms were below or the next ones which led to a lot of leaps of faith (although I noticed that exact term in your dialogue so maybe this was intentional). It just led me to several parts of the game where I was just like I guess I'll just jump this way and hope there is gonna be a platform and if there wasn't I lost progress that felt like it wasn't my fault. Definitely wasn't enough of an annoyance that it kept me from enjoying and completing your game though. Great job on the game!
Wow, that's a wonderful game! Very deep and touching.
It's hard to tell if it fits the "magical realism" theme, but what I can say is that you did a great job with the mental health topic! I was diagnosed with depression several years ago, and I recognize a lot of the all-too-familiar patterns in both the gameplay and the voice snippets. The comforting words kept me going just as much as Blue - I really wanted to see the poor thing get to the destination, however frustrating it was to fall down again and again. When we finally reached that block after the "leap of faith" snippet, I did a little happy dance. ^^ The conclusion was perfect, too - realistic and caring.
Congrats on publishing a game! It's a big deal, especially since you had covid! Not fun, but here you are! Congratulations!
Maybe another game influenced by Thomas Brush? Nice! The voice acting was definitely a plus, it gave the game a plus. The camera has a lot of issues though, and unfortunately took a big toll in my enjoyment of the experience. Congratulations on making a game and on your first jam :D

Overall: short but fun game with an amazing atmosphere, fantastic voice acting and a really interesting concept. Also, the fact that you managed to make this game even though you had to struggle with Covid is amazing! Congratulations on your great work!
like the voice over, the gameplay is nice !
My only issue is the camera, you can almost see the ground you're walking on
