I really loved the gameplay; it's very entertaining and engaging. It's a quite fun game with wonderful graphics, and the sound effects are very well done. Great job!

Ratchase is actually a great game despite the difficulties I faced in the first level where the blue ghost came behind me and attacked me along with the enemy that came toward me and also attacked me. The animations and designs are simply amazing. I could also say the same thing about the level design, it has a blend mix of an NES and a GBA feeling to it mainly because of the graphics of the game but I feel that it's just me. The objective of the game was really solid from the beginning, and there is a neat combo and rating stat feature that adds up over time as I kill more enemies. I wish me and my team made a game that is as good as this one. Overall, this is just a masterpiece of a game despite the struggle of getting past the first level initially!

LOVE the character designs. Love the style of everything in this game. The combat was pretty fun and really captured the old school beat 'em up vibe, I can see the inspiration from River City Ransom. Some of the animations were funny and unexpected, like when the boss pulled out the sniper rifle after engaging with a sword.

Had a bit of trouble with the boss fight, cus I couldn't reach her with my sword if I went all the way right in the map. She'd hide in an unreachable part of the screen and so I'd backtrack to the left to lure her out. But doing this method eventually made me run out of time so I had game over.

Quite the excellent effort and material you have put together for this project.  The graphics were certainly interesting and the audio effects had a very NES feel to them. Well done!

I scored 1401.

I like the timer, at first I did not realise why I immediately died in the beginning of the boss fight after running past the two first levels but when I got it then I thought it was a very clever way to make you keep the good balance between fighting and running and the time pressure during the boss fight is super cool.

I had a lot of fun playing this game, everything about it 100% feels like a NES beat'em'all, it looks and sounds good, I like the character and her controls and attacks feel good, the different enemies are cool especially the boss, her different moves look nice and are fun to deal with.

Love a game with River City Ransom feel! The background graphics are great. Might be a bit too hard unless you run past the enemies, and it might be nice if the timer stopped for the boss fight (she liked to hang out in the part of the level where I wasn't allowed to walk). Still fun! And the boss' attacks are great.

Cool submission, kinda funny when i realized I could just walk past all the enemies without fighting lol

This was fun! Great aesthetic and decent gameplay. The boss was really cool. The timer felt a bit arbitrary and I wished that the camera would move a little closer with the character so that I had more forward vision, but otherwise great.
