Really nice and unique concept! Nice to see other Godot users XD!
I think I need some polishing (other than the 4 blocks around the bunny bug) : the position of the bunny flickers for like one frame when you click the play button in the menu control; a save-system of the high score would be nice; the pathfinding flickers between different possible solutions during the bunny movement if the path is not too constrained (when you hit start you already calculated the optimal path, you could store that and use it directly)
Anyways, nice job!
I honestly was was abit bugged about the path flickering but it makes a lot more sense the way you explained it. I'll try polishing up the game after the jam is over. Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback. Yay Godot users : )
This is really clever and well programmed with the pathfinding. And the bunny's cute! I think the song works well for the title screen. Maybe you can add a second more varied track for the main stage since you spend a lot of time in there designing. Also there's only 1 stage right? If you wanted to expand it further maybe you could do additional stages where there are blocks that you can't move set around the stage forcing you to design around them.
Thanks for the input. There were originally going to be multiple levels each having some variation of restrictions. Like amount of blocks you can place and such but I cut it out cause it would have been a little hard to implement it with the time I had. Since it's my first game jam I just held off. But I still plan on adding them. Thanks for playing and thanks for the advice.
Yeah, I ran into the same stuff on mine as well. It's a really cool concept you got here. Nice job and congrats on your first Jam!
I didn't quite catch the concept, but the camera movement and the path tracing was done pretty good overall.
I interpreted it as the bunny wants to minimize the path to the goal and you are trying to prolong the time. Either way thanks for playing.
Fun game! Liked the concept!
Just like sandbox game or puzzle game. Cool concept!
Thanks for playing
Like the concept and i love the bunny :)
Such a cool concept, I really love a puzzle game (& even more so when they're bunnies!)
Thank you very much. I really liked the bunny as well. Thanks for playing
Very cool and creative concept! The art is really cute and the sound is great! Keep up the good work, I liked this!
Thanks, I'm really new to pixel art and music. It's good to hear you enjoyed it. Thanks for playing.
Great game! As it turns out, covering the bunny with blocks doesn't count as blocking it off. ~250 time with just 4 blocks!
Yes, that was a little bug I noticed later on. I had posted already so I felt I should wait till after the game jam. Thank you for noticing it and thanks for playing and giving me feedback
I had a good time playing this, It was nice to have the pathfinding so I could plan out the best path.
It's my first time using pathfinding. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for playing
I like seeing the different things that can be done with Godot, definitely minimal. and I like how we play against the pathfinding mechanic. Also the bunny is cute!
Yes I wanted to incorporate the "I am the enemy" concept. The bunny is very cute.
I like the different approach that you've taken by creating a sandbox. The path visualization is satisfying. Good job!
Thank you very much. I like sandbox games were it's can be different for every round based on your creativity. Thanks for the feedback and thanks for playing.
