I noticed a lot of good work in adding small details like the controls menu, two different game modes (vs AI, 1vs1), and the title screen animation! I encountered a small problem (maybe you already know about it): I wasn't able to exit the tutorial menu... (Why does the score start at 1 to 1 and not 0 to 0? )
Thank for comment. I think you can leave the tutorial menu by press"ESC". The score start with 1 to 1 because i still don't know how to make the score 0 to 0.
I like the simplicity of the game, it has a nice feel to it. I also love how "complex" the AI is.

The game seems simple which suits the theme, I also enjoy the simple color scheme. For your level of experience I think it's really good. I can't beat the AI though, I'm not sure if I'm not good at the game. Overall it's a good simple game.
