The concept of the game is so good! The game have potential

Nice job! that was fun, the only thing i think that could change, were to include a walk animation

Good Concept for the game!! The controls do feel a bit too responsive but the environment is according to it so its fine but when you need to make smaller movements, it gets difficult. Respect for designing your own music and artwork.

Small little game with potential! Please check out my game!

I plan on doing a bunch more playing and rating soon. I was waiting for my new laptop to come in ,asI did the whole jam on my wifes computer and she wanted it back lol.

Lol

Nice little game! Controls feel nice (maybe a bit too responsive, but only my preference, I mean a really quick tap on the arrow key causes a big dislocation), and the level layout was nice. Furthermore, I appreciated you did your own art/music! The game runs smoothly!

One super small observation. The Z-Index (I used Godot too, nice!) of the UI element relative to the barriers in some areas of the game: the white outline of barriers is rendered over the black outline of the health bar and something similar happens with the gems counter (my I would put UI element in a separate CanvasLayer with higher layer number)

Nice job, keep up the good work!

Thank you! I'm only about 2 months into using Godot and game design in general at this point so any advice is a god send. I am currently working on a full refactor for the game to be released after the judging is over. (I was too focused on making things work and not enough on making it easy to adjust later...)

Good game! The level design is solid. It's not easy making medium-size mazes with stuff to find. This was a good stage. Controls pretty good too and enjoyed the music and art even if the volume was kind of mismatched across the two songs.

Music is intense! :) Great movement and concept!

The controls are really really good, but the music was killing my brain!!!

I like this game, but I personally wish there was more happening like enemies and such. The physics are nice and feel good and the graphics have a nice glow to them which I think is really nice! :)

That is a future plan actually! I wanted to stick to the challenge of Alone for the prototype. But the full game will have enemies and other pickups and such. I was aiming for the horrible love child of Pacman and Megaman lol.

I left one gem:( Good platformer! Fun!

This was a fun game! I really liked the face on the player & how fast it can move. I agree with others that a volume control/mute button would be good! Also an option to lower how bright the walls are would be great too.

This was fun to play! It took me a few tries to find all the gems and when I did... I was just about to be deleted and I'm not sure if I got it or died.  But it made for a lot of suspense and laughter at how close I was to almost winning.  Great job keep up the great work, I'd love to see this project evolve.  Great art and sound design too.

That was fun. I like how the pace kicks up when getting the gems. I really like the character sprite.  Wanted to keep playing but then it was over. Enjoyed it!

Nice funny and simple game! Just reduce the sound's volume.

This was fun, the fact you made the sound and everything else is very impressive.  I look forward to seeing what you do with it in the future.

The performence was really bad at my pc but i liked your idea :D

I was rushing at the end to get an options screen up for sound and controls but for one reason or another it  kept breaking things. When I rebuild it so its not a mess of spaghetti code I will make sure one is included.

You should have a mute button, other than thats it's good

This game is really good! Controls are smooth, movement seems fine, art is on point and there is sound! This is a really great idea, the only issue i found is the loudness of the music, good job!
