Love the idea of Friendly Mummies!
I loved the moment when the advisor describes the carvan as "among the living." Its a great double take moment.
I didn't expect the leader to be so cool about the livings being there... Nice story!
nice use of the theme without outright stating it! Liked the idea of a dead lord actually needing something from the living, great area to explore.
love how pragmatic the leader is, see a caravan lost near its border and thinks, hmmm, would be good to have imported goods again

Without spoiling anything, I love stories that do what you have done here with the undead. This was also a good twist on the theme of 'let them in'.
