Description
Genre: Electronic, Ambient

Mirror cave: supposed to sound confusing, not knowing where you are, disorienting until that bass comes in to estabish where the beat is. Funny note I confused myself when I played the intial piano part and I didn't know what thetime signature was lol.

Drifiting in space: supposed to sound like your floating in the infinite area that is called the cosmos. The theme is the same from the oddysey travel sound track, but it is so sparse that it's kind of hard to hear it.

Dying world: Uses the theme from the oddysey travel soundtrack, but the harmony is different and the theme is altered to make it sound stagnant, just like when a planet or star is about to die.

Oddysey travel: This was the catalyst of this project. I made it a while ago and it was entirely improvised. It came together really quick, but it envokes feelings of home for some reason. It sound like my world, it may sound foreign to others but its home for me.

Message from the artist
I really hope yall enjoyed this project, stay blessed

Theme

Inside my world
Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
The girl seems so at home, but her sorroundings seem so weird and foreign to the regular person. My music is kind of like this. With this project I am allowing people to enter my world of music. It's gonna be weird to a lot of people, but I'm gonna be enjoying myself just like the little girl is. Something about the soudntrack oddysey travle to me really captured this image so perfectly. Feelings of home, yet longingness. The track sounds like it's trying to reach out and grab onto something that was lost so long ago. That's why I used it as a starter for this project.

GREAT VIDEO

Each track is filled with its own soul, emotion and atmosphere - it's perfect for different locations! Excellent work with sounds and effects... I like it!

P.S. Incredible work with visual! I love it!

Developer

The visuals were different artists works, you should go check them out! I put their artist names in the description. Thank you for your kind words! Can't wait to listen to what you cooked up.

This was so relaxing, I especially love the instrument choices that helped create such a floaty feeling! I also liked how you referenced back to that original melody in the last song, it really helped bring the whole soundtrack together for me. Good stuff!

I really appreciate that! I was really trying to hone in on a single theme I could reuse and recycle. Hopefully it didn't sound too repetitive!

Feels and sounds like a space adventure! I enjoyed these tracks and the journey they took me on. That first track really sold me on the theme. Great job!

Developer

Thank you so much! I really like the first track as well. It feels so floaty to me. I can't wait to listen to what you made as well!

Nice work.  Odysssey Travel is my favourite track from the bunch. The whole ost is good at evoking nostalgia. I enjoyed it.

Developer

Thanks a bunch! I'm glad you found it cool :)

The music is indeed nostalgic sounding paired with the lighthearted choice of pixel visuals! I think my favorite track has to be Mirror Cave because of it's wonky feeling ヾ(@⌒ー⌒@)ノ

Developer(+1)

tbh I still don't really know where the beat is for mirror cave

The combination of the art in the YT videos and the music you made is unparalleled. They fit together so well. Really nice work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I put the artists who made the background art in the description of each respective video. Go show them lots of support as well!

The fuzines of the back and forth panning makes this feel real comforting, really nice choice. The whole thing ties into itself well, like it feels thematically like its for the same project, which can be a hard thing to do. Nice work!

Developer

I really appreciate that a lot man!

Great work! I really enjoy the vibe "drifting through space" gives off. Great work!

Developer

Appreciate you

"Drifting Through Space" is my favorite track I've listened to so far out of 50 entries. Love the harmonic progression and sound choices.

I think it's against the rules to use a track made before the jam though ("Foreign World").

Great work overall!

Developer

I think they specified that most of the playlist should be comprised of things made for this jam specifically. Foreign World was the only track that was made prior so I think it shoud be fine

Developer

Heyyyyy, lowkey my fav as well

Neat! It is defiantly different from other things I have listened to. Good work!

Thanks a bunch

The art is incredible! It matches the music so well it reminds me of Risk of Rain 1 which is great!

Developer

Damn you're too kind!
