Description
The genre is inspired by loft, a bit of jazz, and some of my favorite soundtracks to video games such as chrono trigger and kingdom hearts in some ways. I imagine the game that fits this composition as a jrpg and this song works in my mind as an overworld theme likely exploring some kind of mystical area. I composed this track in Logic Pro using the midi sounds provided and playing or programming the lines I felt fit the track appropriately.

Theme

Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
To build this track I sat with my DAW and the picture opened and tried to play something that evoked the same emotion the picture did. To me I interpreted this wondrous serene dream like state and tried to emulate that as well as the sense of elation that the young girl in the photo exudes. I also added a touch of solemness to the track because when I looked deeper into this photo I see the girl interacting with a bubble that specifically looks like a woman and my interpretation of this was that the woman depicted could very well be her mother who she has lost. Because of this I wanted to add a touch of solemness to the track but still keep the overall elation and happiness to the track because even though there may be these slightly sad undertones to the photo/theme the situation or space the girl is in currently is ultimately a happy one.

Hey, I like your unusual combination of different sounds! Jazz? A piece of electronics? A little Lo-Fi? The orchestration? Cool!

I like that you went for more positive vibes since the girl in the picture looks to be happy but still keeping some sad undertones for what you say is her dead mother.

Nice and chill submission. Liked the combination of jazz and ambience. Overall, pretty decent submission. Keep it up!

You installed a nice mood, really relaxing. It seems really at peace, as in the picture!

I loved the chill ambient vibes of this track! My only critique or point of advice might be to change the chord progression up a little bit so the track can feel like it flows and there can be some variation, rather than the progression throughout the whole piece. You did awesome with this song though, keep up the great work!

I like sax. Sax good.

Overall, very pleasant listen. I think some of the synths that come in from time to time could use some less attack to ease them in more. Would help with the ambient vibes. Great job!

Beautiful vibes, love the wavy electric piano and the string pizzicatos! The atmosphere of the picture is definitely there!!

Super relaxing, I think you captured the vibes of the picture well! I love the inclusion of the saxophone as a saxophone player myself, and this is the first time i've heard it used in this jam. My only wish is that you added more bass! There is a lot going on in the higher registers of this piece and i think adding some low end to help support all these gorgeous floaty lines you have up top could bring it to that next level, great work tho!
