Ooh I love that story visual you came up with. I definitely have some plans for the track lyrically along those lines that are very similar! I'm really glad you enjoyed it :)

Thanks Frib! I definitely agree that the vocals will round out the song quite a bit. I'll keep your feedback in mind in case the vocals are not quite enough  :)

Wow, thanks Zephyr! I really appreciate you listening to this even though you're not in the jam. :)

Thanks! I'm glad you like it!

There will be a version with vocals, just not before this jam is over :) Keep your eyes out for it though!

Thanks!  Vocals will be on his track eventually. It definitely will benefit from a melody line. :)

Thanks Pixcele! I'm glad you get the vibe :)

Thanks! I definitely hear what you're saying about the indie rock. After I've developed it some more I might reach back out if you're still interested in providing some vocals. :)

Wow thanks! I actually love Aphex Twin, thats quite the compliment! I'm really glad you like it and continue to keep your eyes out for the full version :)

Thanks Eetu! I'm definitely going to do that. :)

7/8 Time signature is a really cool thing to experiment with! Overall, what a creative entry and a funky one at that!

Love the overtone singing! Sonically, this reminds me of some Divinity II: Original Sin tracks. Nice work!

So interesting! I love it! Dramatic choir vocals, intense drum thumps. Really creates a scene in my head... Pretty neat!

Intense! I could definitely see this in fusionfall. Very final boss-esque

feels like a scene in a detective game! nice!

Very interesting ambient piece! Feels like I'm drifting through space...

Interesting composition! Super cinematic! I could imagine this in a superhero movie. I mean that in the best way!

Very pleasant atmosphere! Easy listen.

Right on! I like the industrial elements and the abrasive stereo synths that blare throughout different parts of the track. Overall, A well put together piece!

Cool sound! I love the arpeggiated chiptune-synths that you use. I love the kinda bizarre vibe on Nuts and Bolts. Well done!

Fun stuff! ??! reminded me of some work by the musician, Blockhead. Trip hop elements mixed with breaky-glitch elements, super creative!

Wow, you crafted some incredible textures. I love the grindy-pulsating synths and the string flourishes. The atmosphere is so intense and tight. Such an interesting composition. Great work!

Hi Jofes! What a fun track! I thought the instrument choice and usage was really nice. I would roll off some of the highs from the horn and maybe experiment with panning a little more. The guitar comes in on the right and plays off the horn which is front and center- It would be cool if you panned the horn to the left to balance that out. But that's just a small little section. Great work!

A beautiful piece... Sorrowful but also a little bit of hope. I wish it was longer!

Some interesting compositions! I particularly thought reeds was really fun. I also liked the way the vocals played off of the melody as a call and response in the last track.

Excellent use of distortion! I felt like it was dynamic for the most part all the way through the track. Definitely a well put together piece.  I really enjoyed the ending.

Nice work! definitely a jam! It's fun to hear action in the music submitted to these.

Thanks! Last night after hearing some feedback,I did that and it sounds much better now. A bit less overwhelming on the ears.

Thanks fox, I appreciate the feedback!

Thanks, Glad you like it! I'm excited for the vocals too!

Ok, gotcha. Either way I'll workshop it :)

Thanks jofes for the thoughts! I'm not too good with theory but I do believe that I do the thing at 1:43 a few times throughout the song. Also, for the quiet guitar at the end, are you referring to the strummed guitar or the balalaika riff? The balalaika riff is something I'll probably work on a bit further. Also, I left a lot of space open in the song because there are going to be vocals added. I just haven't written the lyrics with the person I usually co-write with yet :) I might add in a few little flourishes, we'll see, I'm not particularly skilled at guitar so I kept it fairly simple.

Thanks!

A very nice, vibey piece! well done!

I loved the tracks! Well put together and sonically diverse. I especially liked the drums in the tracks that they were in. The piano was well crafted and sounds very pleasant as well.

Excellent job! I honestly think that "Becoming Yourself" Might be my singular, most favorite entry in this entire competition.

Thanks! Glad you like them!

Great work! I especially loved the vibes on "Where no Bubble dares to dwell"... I love the spooky vibes!

incredible piano work- the compositions are stellar. great job on additional music textures as well. Well thought out and well executed.

Great job! I really loved the world you built with you laid out in your music and art.

Beautiful work on the tracks. I felt immersed in the pleasant but looming soundscape in "The Earth Can't Hold Me". Stuck in time was  a well-balanced contrast to the former. Great job!

Excellent job on this soundtrack! Well varied and put together across each track! I felt like every song told a unique part of the same story. I especially loved Overworld #2!
