Difficult C (Super Challenge)
Sketch of a musical idea using 3-voice mirrored counterpoint and chiptune sounds.
Initially I thought of each line to be played with string instruments (violin, viola, cello). Since I chose category C, due to the nature of these instruments when reversed, the envelope doesn't sound the same backwards as forwards. So it seemed like a great opportunity to work with chiptune sounds (1st time) where it's possible to shape the envelope.
I think <Seres> (beings in Spanish) could work for the appearance of 3 characters represented by each of the lines.
Difficulty
Make something that has elements that can be listened to both backwards and forwards.

Hey, nice job on your first time with chiptunes! I liked the baroque sound of the counterpoint a lot. There was quite a bit of dissonance - something to consider if you're doing counterpoint is trying to approach and resolve those dissonances in a more "traditional", but definitely up to you if you're going a more atonal route. Great work!

I can tell you typically write classic or orchestra pieces. Its great you expanded to new instruments. I kind of wish their were more moments for less tension and to let the melodies and other structures breath but other wise well done!
Yes, I do! What you mention is something I haven't solved yet. Because of the harsh sound, making long notes didn't sound good, so I couldn't lower the tension as you say. But I agree with what you said. Now I think that some pauses or moments with fewer voices would have helped. Thank you so much for the feedback! (still waiting for the space train simulator)

The chiptune is nice but it felt a little hard to follow at times.
My favorite parts were the rare occasion that some 16th notes came in since it added some nice variety to the rhythm.

Great use of the chiptune sound to fit the hardest challenge, I thought of similar things but my composition alone isn't strong enough yet to make a track sound good haha!
It's mainly solid but I do feel like certain parts are dissonant and came out of nowhere. Although overly sticking to the rules can hurt your work, I think this one could benefit from following music theory more while keeping the use of wacky chords/notes to a tasteful degree.
Watching my sketch under the rules of counterpoint would be a huge NO (haha). But I think I know what you mean and I'll try to have more control over my taste for dissonance. Thank you very much for the feedback, I'll keep it in mind!

Great track, really enjoyed the Gameboy chiptune instrumentation (has an early-Gameboy RPG feel to it without the percussions) !
The arrangements feel pretty nice and varied, and the style works very well in reverse too (very fitting for the C difficulty strictly speaking), so great job on that !

Amazing! I do love some nice counterpoint. The use of silence makes it feel very reminiscent of a old-style chiptune when a computer could only play so many lines sounds at once, I think it adds a lot! This was a nice listen!
