Songs:

Core Awakening - Unit-AE3A "Redivider", finds a core that gives him consciousness. He ponders his current situation at the factory and decides he doesn't want to work there anymore.

Live oN- Redivider runs and fights his way out of the factory. He is incredibly persistent for freedom, but to no avail. Once his core got removed, his newly gained memories faded into the nothingness

Interesting story and the music accompanied it very well.

Developer

Thank you! Honestly, my favorite part making this was building around the story too so I appreciate your words!

Submitted(+1)

woww I love it, very good, I loved the choice of instruments, some I would never expect to hear but they worked so well, and they all work very well reversed too and the melodies are really cool too, I hope to see you again in the next jams

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much! And I hope to join the next one, hope to see you there too!

Submitted(+1)

This is so cool! Both tracks are great but the story elevates it to another level, I already feel invested in Redivider's story

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I am glad you like the story, I initially wanted to give Redivider a bit of a happier ending but the palindrome can only take what it gives. Though, the other robots certainly heard his last message. Thanks for listening!

This sounded great. I think its funny the beep sound in the second track sounds like a microwave I have lmao. Love the reversed part aswell. Nicely done!

Developer

Thank you! And that's funny, maybe the factory had to cut some costs and use microwaves for the alarm system

Very nice! I love the percussion on Live oN, it really helps sell the idea of a robot. I also liked the fact that you used some reversed sounds on the first part of Core Awakening. Great job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! and I am glad you like the percussion and it's theming! It is always fun to use less traditional ones for me

Great tracks, the reverse half here sounds fantastic.

Developer

Thank you, I really appreciate it!

Submitted(+1)

Both great tracks, Live oN is my favorite as others here have said too!

Developer

Thank you very much and thanks for listening!

Core Awakening: I really like the reverse half especially at the end.

Live oN: My favorite of the two tracks. I liked the voice and the progression a lot.

Great work!

Developer

Thank you! I appreciate what you like about both my tracks! And I am glad you like the voice too, it definitely took the most effort (mostly due to how hard it was for me to find and use)

Submitted(+1)

These were really nice!

The ambient sounds like the hammer hits, the beeping, and the AI voice made it feel really metallic which was great!

Great job!

Developer

Thank you, I really appreciate it! I am glad you like the ambient sounds, I had some of these industrial sounds in the bin for a bit and was just itching for a project idea to use them in!

Super cool and experimental entry! They are perfect for the story you tell. Live oN, my personal favorite. The little noisy elements add a lot to the track. Well done!!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I am glad you like the story! A lot of the inspiration for most the noise was imagining redivider constantly getting back up after being knocked down by even the toughest adversaries, so I am glad you like them too!

Submitted(+1)

I dig your style! Love those noisy shuffly hats on Live oN.

(also as others have said, the DAW screenshot looks beautiful)

Developer

Thank you, I am glad you liked! And I am glad you appreciate the art, it makes me feel proud of it!

Really cool! so many of the elements and the melody work well reversed and don’t interfere too much with the sounds going the other way. Nice that you have so many elements and still got it made in fruity edition too. I think it’s really creative work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you, I really appreciate it! This jam made me realize I desperately need to upgrade my daw haha, just waiting for the black friday sale for right now

This was an incredible listen! You did an amazing job, I am incredibly impressed at how well these tracks work going both backwards and forwards. Very nicely done!

Developer

Thank you! Your words are very kind, I really appreciate it!

That DAW screenshot is a piece of art!  Great way to show the mirror symmetry of the track, although I don't understand why some patterns are piano roll when forward, and recordings when reversed. Is there a technical reason? The mechanical/robotic theme works really well forward and backwards. Fits your story perfectly too. Nice job!

Developer

Thank you! I appreciate the kind words a lot and I am glad you like the art!

And regarding audio clips, It is due to technical reasoning and time constraints, I use fl fruity edition so I am only allowed 8 audio clips but I tried my best to congest multiple audios into the same clip as often as I could. The unsymmetrical looking ones should be the only "true" reversed clips I believe. I hope that clears things up!

Ah, makes sense!

Damn... This has to be one of the most creative submissions in this jam, the sam text-to-speech is really nice!

Developer(+1)

Thank you, I really appreciate it! And I am glad you like the text-to-speech, was a lot of fun to implement it!

Banger. Banger is all I have to say lol. These slap so much, great job !

Developer

Thanks very much!! I am glad you like them, it was nice to hear this!
