Explain your hypothetical game concept & how you interpreted the theme!
I thought of a game like Undertale. The concept is basically just "story game" and that's it. I didn't really flesh out the theme but I thought of like fantasy, medieval, dragon type beat.
What genre is your soundtrack?
J-rock

Loved the energy - I'd be bopping along as I fought that boss! Great lead synth sound, cuts through and is 'fizzy' without becoming fatiguing :)
this is sweet jrpg esque pop-rock I dunno I’ll stop now. It’s great!
I think maybe getting a different/louder snare might work for you. It sounds like it wants to come out but is actually drowned out by the hats. Love the break transition.
thanks for the critique :)
AMOGUS
Okay, I may not be a fan of the genre and am a bit terrible at it, but I like what you've done.... Good job!
One thing I can point out for sure is that this synth is so cute :>
P.S. Why am I emphasizing the cymbals so much?
This was a jam. Really enjoyed listening!
Keys quickly establish rhythm, synth lead a nice melody. Cool moment when the drums and bass come in. The high pitch piano counterpoint at 0:34 gets lost in the mix, kind of crowded in the high pitch range at that point tbh. The string accompaniment at 1:43 works well. Cool song, nice job!
A fun and solid battle theme! I liked the chord progression you made, especially the electric sounding piano you chose for it. There were some good change ups and sharing of instrumentation.
One thing I would suggest is having a more noticeably different chord progression in the bridge, I think that could grab people's attention as you throw them right back into the satisfying hook after!
This is why I need to learn a different chord progresstion other than the royal road lol. Thanks for the critique.
The tunes really make me reminisce of the peak of the nostalgic UT wave when many fangames out there came out to put out their sans fangames.
The little chiptune over there was pretty neat too :]]
pretty lose with the theme, but liked the music. Cheers!
