Got 84 for as my highest point!

This is really impressive for your age and for a first game jam game! Overall I enjoyed everything you put forward here, music was a nice little bop, graphics were interesting enough and recognizable, nice touch with the instructions only coming up once, so yeah, well done for a first jam entry!

One thing noticed that if you stay next to the truck and drift while an item seems to be “coming out” you still collide with them, not sure if it was just a visual thing or some kind of calculation error. Didn’t took away from the game though!

@Achie

Thank you for the kind words, Its nice to hear that you liked the project.  :D

About the collision bug you were talking about, The items spawn at the truck and move in to the playing area.

Its not an animation but the sprite moving, That's why the sprite still has collision.

Thanks for mentioning the bug.  :D

Again, It's nice to hear that you liked the project.  :D

Nice job! Very impressive game for an 11-year-old - I can't wait to see your future projects!

This was pretty challenging, it reminded me a little bit of the fishing mini game in Stardew valley. It would be nice if there was a quick animation or sound to show the truck was about to drop an obstacle. It seems like it is nearly impossible to avoid the rotten lettuce and spikes if you are directly alongside the truck when they spawn. But I guess that is also a strategic decision - is it worth it to keep pace with the red snail, or is it better to lose out on a few points to stay out of the danger zone?

@TurnBoomerang.

Thanks for the kind words :D,I dident really had time to make animations but im glad you liked it.

It's a really cool game. I love to see games made in Scratch. The racing snails idea is really cute and the gameplay loop was fun. Nice music and sprites, too!

Honestly, this is super cool game! Very solid loop of trying to stay in the range but also watching out for what the truck drops, it’s a really intense fast-pace action. And creative spin on the theme as well. Personal best is 84
