I like the theme and the idea. The game has a dreamlike quality and evokes that feeling of having had no sleep when things start to blur into one another and stop quite making sense. It's strangely mesmerizing.
Thank you for your rating, interesting! I'm amazed that the game could make you feel this way. Appreciate that you took out some of your free time to play the game!
This game feels personal and authentic. It makes me feel like I’m stepping into your (the developer’s) mind and heart, and as a player I think that’s something really special to experience. I want to see more of that in the video games I play.
Wow, fascinating that you feel this way, i did try to make it authentic, but unfortunately i had to make some compromises because of the deadline. Thank you very much for playing the game!
Its crazy how many people do all the art, code and music all by themself, so much work involved, Nice job!
Yes, it's really fun, but also really REALLY stressful. I was amazed on how many jam-games had a team. I actually plan on joining a team for the next jam if i have free time. Thank you very much for playing!
Cool Platformer, i liked the animations but it whoud be fun to be able to dodge the gosts.
Nice Music and SFX,but i didn't realy understand what I was doing, but nice game :D
And Thanks for rating mine (:
Well drawn basic platformer, would be nice to dodge the ghosts somehow. Nice submission!
Thank you very much. Yeah later on I realized that the biggest game design mistake was the ghost, and how it was implemented. It was a really limiting enemy, had some fun use, but didn't really spice up the game play. Dodging might be a great fix, thanks for the advice, and also thanks for playing!
Quite a relaxing game was trying to clock it however I fell through somewhere and couldn't die or get it to restart.
Nice walk cycle and theme reminded me of Little Nemo in Slumberland.
In the menu (ESC), there is an option to restart, however should have placed a game-boundary collider, sooo whooops!
Also i love the Little Nemo comparison, i can certainly see where are you coming from.
Thank you very much for playing my game!
Cool take on the theme, cool character art. I think as someone said a bit smaller would have helped me play especially with the ghosts
I will keep in mind your advice for the next game, thank you very much for playing!
Cool little platformer game thats very speedrunable, maybe if the player was a bit smaller it would be better, but other than that really good! loved the feeling of finding out lil micro skips
I'm really happy that you found these little micro skips enjoyable, I kind of screwed up some game design a little bit.
Thank you very much for playing the game!
This is cool! I wish the gameplay in the dream world was substantially different from the waking world, but it is still a neat visual effect that I think I have not seen before. The levels felt a little too narrow to effetively navigate around the "chasing" enemy ghosts, but that might also be a skill issue!
I did plan different gameplay for the dream world, but I was too ambitious for the time limit.
I'm really bad at making levels and increasing difficulty so I don't think it's a skill issue.
Thank you very much for playing my game!
I love the clear time and effort put into the character sprites and animations, nice work! Very challenging platforming, sometimes in a good way, sometimes in a frustrating way. My main frustration comes from the coffee machines, and while I love the idea of them shooting mugs, the frequency at which they fire off felt unusually difficult. I couldn't make it past the 5th or 6th level, got 18 pages though! I liked that you gave me a reason to explore the level and see all the dangers present in the real and dream worlds. The outfit change is a cool way to make the differences clear. Congrats on your first Godot game, keep at it!
Thank you very much for your kind words and advice!
The game was challenging but fun, I liked the confidence of her walk animation! 🙂 There was one part (I think the 4th level) where at the first jump I fell out of bounds in space, but otherwise it was good!
Yes, I had lots of fun with the walk animation, I will pay attention to more out of bounds colliders in the future!
Thank you very much for checking out my game!
