Really fun game. Thank you for this game
Thanks for taking the time to play it. Glad you enjoyed it :)
I can't imagine how long it must have taken to create a fully-voiced cutscne with so many different shots and unique assets! What an intro!
I am very impressed that you wrote logic for a CPU-controlled second player. It fell right in line with the jam theme, and made the race feel much more urgent when you could see your rival racking up points to your immediate right.
It was interesting that you could use the rocks to slow your descent. I felt like I was constantly weighing the benefit of moving downward faster vs. slowing myself so it was easier to grab gems.
Thanks for the awesome detailed feedback seems like all the things we desired our players to experience came through :)
Overall a nice little entry that utilizes the theme well. The gameplay loop is satisfying and the intro is funny and well made.
Gameplay wise the rocks felt a bit “weird” to me in the sense that they seemed like falling but not really doing anything else, did I miss something with that?
Also, sound levels, please double check your audio levels before publisinhg! Atm 15 on the leaderboard!
Thanks for the feedback, yes we had a lot of trouble with the rock system and never quite got it right, sorry about the audio.
Cheers for playing and also thanks for the feedback good to hear the things we did well and less so.
Genuinely great gameplay, I really wish there was a two-player versus mode. The intro cutscene is a gem all on its own :3
Thanks, it initially was a two-player game, which would have been way easier than coding an ai. Nice pun, they did a great job on that intro.
"Hey that's mine" had the best voice acting I've ever heard.
Thanks Rico organised that, good old kiwi accents.
I love the intro cutscene! It sets up the game really nicely with a fun atmosphere and a lot of personality. The gameplay is solid and the music and sounds make it come more alive. Really nice to play.
Yeah you got it that is exactly what we were going for with the intro to set the tone.
Thanks a lot for playing :)
Super fun game, got 2950 or something like that, on the first go. The intro cutscene is super charming.
On your first go I never got that high, well done, thanks for playing.
Got a top 20 score on the first try, that's so cool you implemented a leaderboard! The intro cutscene is pure magic, I love how much effort you put in with the animations and vocals, really good stuff! The drill suits are awesome. Things get a little crazy if you get too many speed up gems, but other than that gameplay was easy to understand and execute. I like that you set up AI to compete against, and I could see this being a great 1v1 experience with 2 players. Overall a really great job, well done!
Great work, its a cool gameplay, you even added a leaderboard, thats crazy.
Thanks for playing, first time i Have added a leaderboard so glad you like it..
Very fun game, and the cutscene was funny and well made. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, with the leaderboard adding a nice touch!

Cheers for your positive feedback. Glad you enjoyed and had a bit of a laugh at the intro :)
