I really like the idea of the spell construction. Quite a game for the time frame! And I love the title screen. Overall really nice work!

I especially like how there are so many hidden secrets to explore. The ending scene tells me there are probably a whole lot I haven't discovered (curiosity led me to the source code, I'm astonished).

Thank you! Few people appreciate the code :)

Brilliant game !

Game is great! Very unique and entertaining. However, can't seem to notice how to pass the second level. It just says C, E, F, I, R but what are we supposed to then? I formed a word CEFIR, nothing showed up...Don't think there is any word that can be made out of these letter either. Kind of stuck, but the idea is really really great!!!

Developer

Oh there are a couple of words that can be made with those letters, FIRE and FREE can be useful (but... shhh... don't tell new players)

Oh! *Whispering* Thought every letter should be used... Going to try again ;)

Fun game and idea with getting close to enemies to absorb their letter for spelling out a spell. I Also really like the slight 3D effect of the map where the perspective of the walls change slightly as you move around.

This.. feels different.. the music, aesthetics, and enemy design make this feel so otherworldly and mysterious. I want to know more about the world this game is set it. Where does this even take place? What does the mage want?

I can’t say I like the gameplay side of this too much. But the strange mechanics just add to the overall feeling of mystery. This is the most unique entry I’ve seen so far IMO.

I also appreciate all the cool visual effects that you made :)

Thank you!

I didn't invest much time in creating a lore, but you made me write a head canon:
This character, "the Antimage" wants to stop an organization of  evil wizards that have the monopoly of the magic and use it for evil things, like... building parking lots. So, they had to learn to absorb the magic and use it against them.
His primal objective is to close all the portals from where the magic flows to the world.

I picked the music from incompetech.com, it was made by Kevin MacLeod.

Perfect game! The theme is very well used, the game is fun and this “spell the spells” mechanic is awesome! I had never seen it before, and I loved it :)

I really liked this game, very creative, especially the combination of letters to form spells to overcome the difficulties of the levels. Very ingenious creator, congratulations :)

After completing the game, I have to say the theme is brilliantly reflected in the game. I absolutely love the idea and the freedom that is given in the levels. This one definitely stands out in my opinion. Great work!

The slow down mechanic is kinda handy, but also obnoxious when you don't want to use it and I don't really see the theme reflected in the game. The spell mechanic is very innovative though.
