Loved the way you built the mechanics and how they were incorporated into the level design. A nice, tight, satisfying experience overall.
There's some real potential here in how the abilities and level design came together. I legit spent like 5 minutes just messing around with the last section to see all the different things I could do with them.
Really fun platformer! The abilities add so much to the gameplay.
Uploaded V1.1. Doors should now only work when all candles are lit.
My favorite game over screen of the jam so far, no doubt. It absolutely destroyed me. The main mechanic was clever and I liked the gradual progression of the idea, it was the right ammount of challenge and it had a good lenght. The puzzles were well thought out. Really enjoyed the implementation of audio too. Good work!
Absolutely delightful platforming, each new mechanic was fun to work out, and the sounds of acoustic guitar for Big George's jump is a great vibe. Really fun to play.

I liked how the abilities are introduced in each level. Doing trick jumps through water with Big George's lighter to the relaxing sound of guitar was great!
I really liked the way you committed to the character of the intern. The mechanics were very smartly designed. It took me a bit to get good at it, because I suck at playing platformers on the keyboard, but once I got the hang of it I was having a lot of fun. That final mechanic especially made for some cool traversal.
Thanks. Ideally I would have included controller support but I didn't have time to look into how that works. Maybe I can do that in an update.
What a sweet and fun game. The puzzle platforming mechanics were introduced at a great pace and all seemed like a natural evolution of each other. The levels were all interesting and i like how they seem to all end in a final test of the new skills. I also think the meta messages from the developer are a super nice touch
I was tickled when I found out that my jumping was making the guitar play. It's a really nice touch that plays into the game's chilled out vibes. I really liked the progression and additions of skills, although the last puzzle had me stumped for a while! (I got it eventually.) I also thought the surrounding metanarrative was a fun choice. Great job all around!
Updated 7/16 10:22 to add movement controls popup and possibly make collision invisible on stage 4.
Nice job on this one. The simple goal of manoeuvring around water and lighting candles was perfect for a short game like this, and combining the dash, jump, and ignite to get over the long gaps was legitimately really fun. Nothing bad to say, I liked this a lot. I think Big George is quickly becoming the standout character of the jam.
